Cheap simple good honest tapas in a very casual place

The place looks rather run down and zero decor, but honestly, if you want some simple but fresh and super cheap tapas then this is the place. We had about 10 different tapas, or good size, plus 2 beers, one wine and 2 waters. Bill 18.80 eur in total. A lot of fun and tasting in a kind of... read more

Excellent tapas, cheap drinks. Is very popular with the locals so can be a problem getting a table but definitely worth the wait.

Run by a whole family, this place's tapas never disappoint. The service is fantastic, reasonable priced food and drinks and the size and taste of their tapas is superb. highly recommended for someone who wants to try real Granadine stuff

In the very heart of the city, among buildings 200 years old there is Bar Avila, with one of the best food in Granada. Please try everything in the menu, you won´t be disappointed. Salmorejo, Rejos, Jamón asado. Crowded yes, but you would never feel uncomfortable is one of those places where the food and service make out for everything... More

Great tapas, helpful staff & our girls even got stuck in. Well worth seeking out, seemed very popular with the locals. We were lucky to get a table.

Their tapas were pretty big and tasty but their main plates did disappoint. Tried their Bacalao con Tomate took a few bites and left it because it was pretty bad. For bring their suggested dish it was a big let down. Staff was great though and the tapas served were good, I'd probably just stay clear of the Bacalao if... More

Typical Bar in Granada. Amazing tapas and beer. I recommend roast ham, salmorejo and snails. The treat is astonishing and the place is always crowded. If you want to take a sit you must go early but it is worth it. The waiters are polite and quick.

The restaurant is placed in the middle of Granada and maybe a little hard to find. Always a lot of people and its very typical spanish bar. The food is totally fantastic, you should try the salted meat! It's also cheap and the service is very good and fast. The staff look a little grumpy but are always nice. This... More
