This restaurant was near the hotel I stayed at, and was highly recommended by the hotel staff. On the night I was there for dinner, the hotel staff was there to chill too! Food was okay - I had the braised pork cheek and my partner had the roast chicken. Both were too salty for our taste buds, but we... More

Nice, modern, but charming restaurant in the old part of Granada, on a small square. Serves tasty, freshly cooked tapas. The service was great too. Highly recommended

Great place near our hotel - Santa Isabel al Real. El Aji was in a beautiful square near our hotel in the Albayzin. We felt very welcome and safe in this area. We went twice in the evening, after a full day walking, for a glass of wine and complementary tapas. The wine was great and the tapas a surprising... More

We were recommended to eat here by a friend who was born here, partly because it was within a 100 yards of where we were staying. It was a November evening so we ate inside the small restaurant, there are only maybe 6 tables and some only sized for two. We were early and they were not really open but... More

We usually research restaurants but took a chance since the menu looked like there was something that everyone in our party would enjoy. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff friendly and helpful. Our group consisted of a vegetarian, carnivore and one with dietary restrictions. An appetizer of humus was served as we enjoyed our drinks. It was wrapped in... More

Friendly and relaxed, and in a league of its own on the Plaza de San Miguel Bajo, both in terms of service and food. Their meat dishes -- especially the pork -- are excellent, and while the wine list is not among the longest, it offers some nice choices. Among the puddings, the flambéd mango is hard to beat. El... We arrived in town late on a Sunday evening and the restaurants on the square were only three minutes walk from our apartment so we let hunger get the better of research and good judgement. The food at El Aji is nicely presented and the dishes look much more "modern" than other restaurants in the area. However, what is lacking... More

This tiny restaurant was more than I anticipated. Their dishes were higher-end (i.e. not the usual), generously portioned, and great prices. The owners were very friendly. I ate there several times during my two weeks in Granada.

There are several tapas bars and restaurants in this delightful square at the top of the Albacian, El Aji is probably the Resturant with the best food. But even so it is overpriced and not very tasty. It would be better to come for a drink, enjoy the sunset and dine elsewhere in Granada.

The food here was amazing. From the free tapas with a hot crusty artisan bread roll, a starter of homemade pork sausage with a fiery sauce, through to the Argentinian beef with jacket potato and salad, faultless cooking and presentation. The Rioja, priced at 22€ was the best we've had on our trip. Friendly and efficient owners made us feel... More
