Excellent service, food and amazing view.

We wanted our last meal in Granada to be special and Carmen Mirador de Aixa fit the bill perfectly. The service was wonderful (not typical in Spain). The food was delicious. I live in Granada and have often been to the Albaicin district, where there are a number of restaurants with views of the Alhambra, most of which I have visited. However, I had never been to the Carmen Mirador de Aixa, but decided to try it since my sister and her husband were here visiting from Barcelona. After a walk through... More

Though the food was good, the prices were a little on the high side. That being said, the extra that you are paying are exclusively because of the views. And what views! I would recommend going before the sun sets, so you can watch the sunset as it hits the alhambra, and then you will also experience the alhambra lit... More

Leave the riverside and walk up the hill. Take your time and enjoy. It's not cheap but it's it's quality and worth the effort. Nice view as well. And excellent service.

My wife and I ate here in June 2014. The good folks at Hotel Anacapri were able to get us a reservation with a table near the parapet railing. I would recommend taking a cab both ways. We dined at sunset under a canopy; the food was excellent and the view was spectacular. In full view of the Alhambra, we... More

Fabulous food, service and incredible view of the Alhambra. Celebration of my mother's 70th and the owner could not have been more helpful with the booking. The food was exceptional; especially the fillet steak which was some of the tastiest we have eaten. Great wine. Little extras to cleanse the palate. All delivered with relaxed charm and warmth. And then... More

There is a fabulous view of the Alhambra from the terrace of this restaurant. They have a great choice of dishes. I thought the food was OK - nothing to complain about but nothing great either. It's the view you're paying for.

Went to this place on the recommendation of our hotel. Told them I was looking for a full dinner and not just tapas. It was only a ten minute walk from our hotel and was wonderfully surprised when we entered. The seating is outside and has an amazing view of the Alhambra. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and... More

It is hard to expand on the reviews of others that precede mine. Suffice it to say, there was absolutely nothing wrong at this restaurant. We were in Spain for just over 2 weeks and this was the single best meal we had there. The price was not at all out of line for a good restaurant. Our Hotel (Santa... More

We celebrated my 60th Birthday in this restaurant and it could not have been better. We were shown to a front terrace table by the friendly owner. The view from this table was fantastic, we watched the dusk fade and the lights come on at the Alhambra, wonderful. The service was attentive, efficient and pleasant. We were given free glasses...
