Great tapas bar

If you plan to go here I recommend to eat your tapas inside! We liked it more than having our lunch at their terras. Great spanish atmosphere. It is a busy place with lots of locals. The waiters are amazing. They must have excellent memory. They are friendly and efficient. The tapas are good. Great... read more

Absolutely loved this Bodega. Totally authentic and obviously loved by the locals. If you just go for a drink then you stand at the bar or one of the barrels. You get free tapas with each drink which is ok, but definitely worth ordering tapas from the menu. We tried Iberian ham, Manchego cheese and Anchovies. We also came for... More

Loved the locale, the service, the food and the fabulous sherry! Our last night in Granada, spent in the most appropriate way.

We'd started bar hopping near our hotel (Melia Granada, in a touristy area) and were wandering the streets in search of something with more of a vibe. When there are 6 of us, it's hard to decide where to go, but when we discovered this place, the call was unanimous. The food and drink were not much different from any... More

This bodega was great! It had a large variety of tapas and flavours. I higly recommend their cheese plate and 'Granadian' salad. The atmosphere is very Spanish, which makes it one of the best tapas bars around.

Gone there on recommendation of Rick Steves book, but still asked locals which also recommended going there. Since we didn't want to eat pork, we ordered raw fish plate and drinks. Delicious! Great local vibe.

Despite the mixed reviews, we LOVED this place! I think its safe to say that your experience will depend on what you're looking for -- if you're looking for the Antiqua Bodega Castanedas restaurant up the street (or it was full so you came to this related eatery), then you'll probably be disappointed with this quick, bright, loud bodega. If... More

Classical bodega, good looking tapas. We had dinner outside. Food was average. Not expensive so value for money was fair. Not to repeat.

We noticed the odd smell as soon as we walked in, and I almost walked out, but I'm glad we didn't. Service is efficiently Spanish, and the food is amazing. The Tablas are huuuge and really great value. The oldest bar in Granada supposedly, and it's a great experience, if a tiny but touristy. Well worth going. We went twice.

Visited late in the evening. Ornate and functional bar with a good selection of regional drinks. Very friendly locals which gives the place a welcoming atmosphere. We had long conversations with neither party understanding a word the other said. Bring your drinking hat and a sense of humour!
