This is a real, authentic tapa bar up a side street off the Plaza Nueva. You need to be there by 12.00 hrs as it gets VERY busy with locals: always a good sign.. Each drink is accompanied by a delicious tapa. The down side is that it is incredibly noisy ( not a place for those seeking a quiet... More

Not as good as I thought (or hoped) it would be at the Bodegas Castaneda. Service was pleasant enough and the drinks from the big barrels behind the bar good value for money, but the tapas, not so much. The jamon was greasy, fatty and not very tasty and the meat stew was disappointing as well but on the plus... More

Spent 4 days walking by this place trying to get in, before we finally got in, such is the popularity of the place. The waiter picked the food for us, because i think that was all they had left at the time, but it was good none the less. Would like to try it again to get a proper feel... More

We ate 5 meals at this place! Its buzzing with locals all through the day. 2 cooks 5 waiters and the food is by far one of the best local experiences. The free tapas, Ox tail, smoked salmon, the salad (tomato and mixed) and all their platters (pates, cheese and hammon) were simply amazing. The waiters cannot speak English that's... More

We were brought to this as the real-thing Grenada tapas bar...and it may well be that but it was jammed with tourists and a significant part of the restaurant seemed to be in a ratty alleyway. The core of the restaurant looked fine, but it was mainly standing room amongst the tiled walls and the pigs hindquarters. Most of the... More

Free tapa with drinks which is nice. However, as with many places in Granada if you get a free tapa your drinks are invariably more expensive. Busy bar with a good atmosphere.

This is a Granada restaurant worth visiting. The extensive choice of tapas and the succulent flavors make my mouth water just talking about them. Must ask for Ruffino (the waiter). He was absolutely perfect (great service and great personality).

This is an old and quite famous bar in central Granada. Well loved by the locals it can get very full in the evening and you will be obliged to eat standing up. I however went there for a light lunch one day and had a lovely meal. Fine wines and top class food - this is not the cheapest... More

With the best Jamon Iberico de Bellota on the menu (Joselito), and a fantastic selection of other tapas at a great price, this place is a must visit. I visited this tapas bar multiple times during my stay in Granada, and loved it every time. Stand at the bar and order the Vermuth on tap like a local, you'll love... More

I am always dubious about food offerings in touristy areas, but as with all the places we visited around the centre of Granada, the food here was very good. The place has a very nice feel to it, and we chose to sit outside which was very atmospheric. The food was fresh and consisted of a mixture of tapas from... More
