It's worth going just to exerience the energy of the place. We didn't buy any food, just ate the wonderful selection of tapas that arrived with our drinks. Every time a different small plate. Staff are excellent, service is manically fast but they look after you very well indeed.

Normally I don't give negative critique. But this was over the hill. Very bad food, lousy service. No atmosphere at all. This is the absolute tourist trap. We left the place without continuing and went to another tapasbar in order tohave some decent food.

If you're in Granada you can't miss having a meal at Bodegas Castaneda, it will be the most authentic Spanish food experience you'll have. Really enjoyed a few hours here over a few glasses of vino tinto, cerveza and delicious complimentary and ordered tapas. Pork with roquefort a revelation. Very good value for money too. Would highly recommend stopping in on a trip to Granada.

No thrills very traditional food with great service. Not overly touristic and is good for late night snacks.

My wife and I visited Bodegas Castaneda twice, once for lunch, once for dinner. Both times, we opted for outside tables in a narrow corridor with a pleasant cross-breeze. The food was not exactly exceptional, but satisfying, and it's a pleasant place to pass a bit of time with a meal and reasonably priced wine.

Good for hungry men. Large portions if you order platters. Service wasn't very good, no suggestions or advice on what to order, which would have been helpful. But if you know what your ordering and if you like hectic surroundings you can have a good time here.
