Perfect For Authentic Tapas in a Loud & Fun Place!

Despite the mixed reviews, we LOVED this place! I think its safe to say that your experience will depend on what you're looking for -- if you're looking for the Antiqua Bodega Castanedas restaurant up the street (or it was full so you came to this related eatery), then you'll probably be... read more

Gone there on recommendation of Rick Steves book, but still asked locals which also recommended going there. Since we didn't want to eat pork, we ordered raw fish plate and drinks. Delicious! Great local vibe.

Classical bodega, good looking tapas. We had dinner outside. Food was average. Not expensive so value for money was fair. Not to repeat.

We noticed the odd smell as soon as we walked in, and I almost walked out, but I'm glad we didn't. Service is efficiently Spanish, and the food is amazing. The Tablas are huuuge and really great value. The oldest bar in Granada supposedly, and it's a great experience, if a tiny but touristy. Well worth going. We went twice.

Visited late in the evening. Ornate and functional bar with a good selection of regional drinks. Very friendly locals which gives the place a welcoming atmosphere. We had long conversations with neither party understanding a word the other said. Bring your drinking hat and a sense of humour!

The bar is very authentic, typical from Granada, usually crowded, by both tourists and people from Granada. Frequently eat at the bar; there are just a few tables to sit down. But if you want a table you always can ask the waiter, and he will prepare you one as soon as a table is availed, so you could enjoy... More

Tucked on a side street off of Plaza Nuevo's Elvira Street, this is a place with a lot of history and character. The tapas are solid, the homemade gin and tonics are fantastic (including the presentation) but are only available at certain hours. The service fluctuates between initially eager and attentive, to being completely ignored from the start. If service... More

Stoped for a drink after visiting the Alhambra. Just what we needed after hours of sight seeing: sangria and calicasa (traditional wine cocktail). The place is just what you expect of a Spanish tavern. Prices are fair and located close to plaza Isabel II.

Following recommendatation from a local went there and had amazing time. As u know the tradition of tapas in Granada has huge history and is kept up to today that when u order a drink u get free tapas. Here you get one of the biggest tapas portion and the most deliciosus one. As well if you want to try... More

Went there on a Sunday and it was crowded. They have outside seating sith two inside buildings. We ordered two sampler plates which were more than enough for me and my friend. Our service was fantastic as our server had limited English speaking ability. I was able to communicate in basic Spanish and he could interpret me. I highly recommend,... More
