Try the ox tail

Had the place recommended and really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and the ox tails were great. Had a wine recommended that went well with them!

We had today a selection of cold and warm tapas, combined with a small beer and sangria. Excellent !! The bodega itself is traditional and worthwhile to visit, a place I can only highly recommend

We actually walked past this place at lunchtime and it was absolutely bouncing and full both inside and outside. When we went back later it was much quieter and we managed to get a table outside. Service was quick and I attempted to use the iPhone google translator to read the menu. I went for "slapped in vinegar" which actually... More

This historic restaurant had been recommended to us but we were very disappointed. The food was indifferent and unimaginative. The service was slow. While the restaurant was crowded we have had much better and friendlier service in more crowded restaurants in Grenada.

Good fun. Quite empty when we arrived, but got very busy later. We had children with us and it is very child friendly. We left at 10pm and people with children were still coming in. Food was good - tasty and decent value

We asked for recommendations and had three plates of mixed tapas between four of us, yet we left most of it. The mushrooms were tinned with an out-of-the-tube tomato paste sauce, the iberico was the worst we had in a one week visit to Spain, the pork was dry and hard, most of the cheese was tasteless. When I complained... More

Can be overwhelmingly crowded at times, but well worth the effort to work your way up to the bar. Very good food. The tapas are traditional but very tasty & generous. They don't skimp on the drinks and the prices are very fair. Not many seats, but the tapas experience is best standing/leaning at the bar and watching the ballet... More

Had a recommendation to go here and glad we did - packed to the rafters, but really fun. Squeezed in at the bar and got two G&Ts (served in a pint glass) and knew we couldn't go wrong. Also had some hot tapas, but it was a little basic compared to the amazing food we had during the rest of... More

Enjoyed an excellent stop at the Bodegas Castaneda, you may need some patience as the place gets busy, but it is while worth the wait. We had a couple of beers, Vemont or two and some very nice Tapas. The atmosphere is busy and noisy, which all add to the experience, people stop for a drink or two and move... More
