Good food with worldly view

As we sat down for dinner during sunset, our breath had been taken away by the beautiful views. Although not blown away by the food, the experience was only heightened by wonderful service.

Views are breath taking - best in Granada. Food was spectacular. Even though it's mostly tourists, the food was our best in the city and service was perfect as well. Get there for a 830/9 dinner and watch as the Alhambra colors change drastically over 1.5-2 hrs

The sun was beginning to set when we climbed the winding, historic streets of the Albaicin toward the Mirador San Nicholas and the hilltop church of the same name where crowds gather to watch the sun set beside the Alhambra. We had asked at our hotel for a restaurant recommendation near the church and were told about this place, directly... More

Take a cab because this restaurant is not easy to get to but once there you will have breath taking views of the Alhambra. The dinner was expensive for Spain but very high quality and you are paying for that View! Service is exceptional, the food was fantastic and the desserts worth saving room for! The chef sends a special... More

A window seat, an excellent lunch with a glass of good wine, service attentive but unobtrusive: definitely the best way to end a short visit to Granada. The only downside to beware: paying by credit card, I wanted to pay in Euros, only Euros showed on the terminal, yet the slip says I've paid in Sterling at a usurious exchange... More

I felt like I was in a J. Peterman ad-- the sun was setting over the snow-topped Sierra Nevadas turning the Alhambra beautifully golden on one side, wine and fine food on the table, a woman singing flamenco down below, and occasional guitar by our table. The food was good as was the service, but really, it's the view and... More

You are in Spain. A Korean guy is playing the Spanish guitar, and you are looking out at the most amazing Moorish temple constructed. I think Bourdain would say, " I have arrived". Eat here. Just eat here. Hell, I can't remember what I consumed but it was truly delicious and it does not matter. Enjoy the moment. The food,... More

Wonderful dishes served with a view of the Alhambra. Flamenco music in the background.... Art on a place is what you get here, in a wonderful setting. Of course this doesn't come cheap, but at a reasonable price. After all, you pay for the location too. The restaurant itself, the food, the view, the service, all are top notch. An... More

If your budget doesn't stretch to this excellent restaurant try drinks and tapas at their small terrace with barrel tables in the street at the back of the restaurant. All the atmosphere of the mirador square, excellent, varied free tapas with your drinks ( which are considerably less expensive than at a nearby indifferent restaurant), cheerful staff and even a glimpse...
