My favourite Restaurant in Granada

We discovered this restaurant early in our trip and went back several times in a single week -- that is how good it is! The owner and manager, Mustafa, will make you very welcome and the food is just beyond belief! A wonderful atmosphere, a varied menu that cannot disappoint -- I can't wait to go... read more

We, too, were looking for a tapas reprieve. This delightful oasis was recommended by our hotel and was a fun climb up the hill. Spectacular fish tagine with incredible olives and lemons, fresh vegetables. Started w the salad sampler and lentil soup. Made us want to get a Morrocan cookbook. No alcohol. Owner/host was welcoming and all service attentive but... More

Located at Cuesta de Marañas, at the lowest part of the popular Albaicín neighborhood, the Arrayanes restaurant is a must if you happen to visit Granada. In the nearby Cuesta de San Gregorio you have a bunch of other restaurants too. We checked TripAdvisor for advice on these and we decided to wait until Arrayanes opened. It did not dissappointed... Have been living in Granada for the last five months, and my only regret is that I just discovered this restaurant this past weekend! The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I came with two friends and we had a pretty large sample starter for 12 euros (so good and you could tell the vegetables were very,... More

We visited the place while on our anniversary. The place quite easy to find. The food is just brilliant! We e joyed our lunch thoroughly. The ambience could do with a bit of work though. Maybe lowering the music a bit and not burning so much incense. Buuuut the food makes up for all that! And the service too is... More

We have visited the place on a whim, after arriving to Albazyin pretty late on our first night. The service was quick and polite, however we did not enjoy the food so much. The portions were very small, for a really high price. The taste of both dishes was pretty bland and the lemon and olives chicken had a funny... More

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at the Arrayanes Restaurant in Albayzin. We had the chicken with olives and lemon and the meatballs (middle eastern as opposed to Italian). All I can say is WOW! I love middle eastern food, and this was prepared exquisitely...so tasty and flavorful. We added bread and cous cous and could not have... More

We came to Arrayanes on Christmas Eve and it was clear that the staff was a bit flustered with the craziness of the night, but we still managed to have a great meal while relaxing on couches on the second floor. We were started with some smoothies and starters - hummus, baba ganoush, and some other mysterious but delicious sauces.... More

My teenaged kids are still talking about this meal. The food is excellent, a nice change during a 2 week trip in Spain. All 5 of us loved our meals. But the real star is the service. The owner is funny, interesting, and speaks perfect English, so you will get what you order.

Myself and my family unfortunately reserved this restaurant for our Christmas Eve meal. It was blatant profiteering and extremely bad value for average quality food. The special menu was E35 and remarkably so was the a la carte for starter, main, dessert, soft drink and tea.The soup was a poor mans chowder and the main which was supposed to be... More
