We bumped in this restaurant while we were sightseeing along carrera darro, we got the three courses menu and the food was delicious and well presented.. the service was quick and careful. We really enjoyed our meal and the view of al Alhambra! Recomended!

After a long day of travel, sight seeing, and thunder storms, this restaurant looked like an oasis with the place settings and wine glasses sparkling through the window. The food, service & wine were all excellent. A great ending to a long but enjoyable day.

The terrace is set beautifully alongside the river and looking up at the Alhambra. Whilst very busy, the service was still good but what really won it for the restaurant was the food. Goat's cheese and apple, tuna tartar, jamon and manchego cheese and finally, a perfectly cooked tuna steak dressed with cinnamon - just divine. Well worth a visit.

Our first experience of eating in this restaurant was so good that we booked it again for our last night. Why so good? The waiters were really friendly, the food was amazing and the view of the Alhambra as the sun goes down was just wonderful. Our table was orientated so that we could both see the view and we asked for... We took a seat the terrace to have a wine firs. It took the grumpy waiters very long time to come to us. We asked questions about the wines which the waiters unwillingly tried to answer. After us choosing the wine it took the waiter another 15 movies to show up to take the order. When we told him that... More

We stayed in an apartment a few doors down & couldn't eat out as heavy rain and with a baby. Asked for takeaway. No problems! The food was lovely and it was ready 5 mins after going to collect. They were very helpful and we really appreciated the good meal! Thank you!

You couldn't ask for a better location. We ate a lovely lunch on a warm Monday afternoon. The wait staff was attentive & friendly. The lamb cous cous was a delight. So many levels of flavor, and more than enough to satisfy. The lamb cutlets were well seasoned with prefect roast potatoes and roast peppers.. desert and a cafe con... More

We had a simple, set lunch here with beer. All very nicely done, friendly service and as other reviewers have said a great view. Probably the best of the restaurants along this stretch, but little to differentiate them.

In Granada there's hardly a street or square where you can't eat. But it's hard to find a place that serves real food instead of the usual tapas. Our best experience was restaurant Ruta del Azafran on the banks of the Darro, not significantly more expensive than the other restaurants we tried, but so much better than the rest. Including a... We were in Granada for 3 days and we decided to have dinner at this restaurant two nights in a row. No glamour but excellent food and great atmosphere. We ate inside both times to enjoy a little quiet time after a day spent outdoors. One night we had CousCous with lamb (spicy but not hot, exceptionally good), and the... More
