We went in for tapas on our first afternoon having read the reviews on tripadvisor. We were told we could not have a table although there were tables available but could sit at the bar. After a short debate we left as it was obvious we were not welcome! There are no outside tables at this bar.

A proper "old school" spot from the early 1900's with big sherry barrels and a striking picture on the wall behind the bar. A little rough around the edges it has lots of old world charm with beautiful tiles depicting different areas of Granada on the walls. There is no outside seating but the cool, dark interior provides a welcome... More

This place is great. There is so much history, it was a bodega back when it first opened in 1910. It's family owned and operated to this day. It has so much character and the food was on point. The owner was so welcoming and the bartender and waiters worked so fast to accommodate our very large group and were... More

The best tapas we've had in Granada. We had the croquettes and the calamari, we all agreed its the best we have tasted! We were also given some free tapas at the start which on its own was already substantial. Most importantly the owner, Miguel, is the nicest and most attentive person. He would always come to clear the table... More

Miguel was a great host. We ate our fill including the famous habas con jamon. Our first drink came with a delicious pork stew tapa. The vermouth was delicious as well as the sherrys in the barrels behind the bar. It was really relaxed, low key and great value.

Espador is a must-do in Granada. They are known for their great tapas and friendly service- not to mention the authentic vibe you get in the restaurant. It is a family owned business that has been around for 90 years. I just recently got married in Granada, and during the week leading up to the wedding we brought in a... More

The owner Miguel was possibly my favourite thing about this place. The food was excellent, both for breakfast (I had a Tostada with Roquefort cheese, my girlfriend and her family all had the same but with butter) and for dinner. For dinner, we had the jamon asada, which was great! Finely seasoned, it was light and delicious. We also had... More

I picked this restaurant because I found it listed as the #1 tapas place in Granada. I was definitely disappointed. Although my caña (small beer) did with a good tapa (salchichones in tomatoe sauce) there seemed to be no other tapa offerings. I went ahead and ordered the Jamon Asado racione - the house specialty- and receive a large plate... More

We visited this bar the first day in Granada. We missed it at the first time, but finally found it at the corner. Old school decoration, local but cozy. Staff are quite friendly, but no English menu. After some guess and dictionary check, we ordered one grilled pork and one fired squid. Surprisingly big portion and good taste, me and... More

There certainly seems to be some confusion with the given address to this restaurant as the entrance to the place is actually on the nearest side street which joins with Gran Via just before no 59. Don't bother to go there too early in the evening as they don't open till around 8 pm or later. The first thing you... More
