Friendly and Authentic

The guy from our apartment recommended La Vina and we were glad he did. We had a lovely time there and enjoyed local delicacies surrounded by local people - always a good sign. Set a block back from the beach it is an unassuming looking place but don't be put off. The menu is extensive, the prices... read more

Just one of the best tapas restaurants we have been to. Hugely popular with locals, which is always a good sign, with excellent and highly original dishes and friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere too.

prompt service and friendly staff, though the wine we ordered was hardly rueda wine we were promised, it probably was a mistake.. the tapas are plenty and of good value but unexciting. still missing those fine tapas like for example at calendula restaurant..

This place was recommended to us by a friend who lives in this area. The food in this restaurant was so delicious I felt totally in heaven. My favourite was croquetas and pimentos. The staff was really friendly. If you are looking for a real spanish experience this is the place.

Not a large restaurant but nice and cozy, especially if you can snag one of the tables and chairs. I think this is only possible if you arrive early because by 9 pm. it is packed with people. Most of those seem to be locals, some even with kids. Fabulous choice of wines and great tapas. Very good service and... More

Its over 3 years since I last visited Torremolinos and La Vina and it was so good then that I made a bee-line there on my recent holiday. I was not disappointed. There have been some subtle changes but the place, food and staff are just brilliant. The amazing choice of tapas and wine still remains and value for money... More

Do yourself a favour and try the most amazing food here. I would have eaten here everyday and stayed from lunch to dinner. Great food, good wine, friendly service and great value! Don't be afraid to experiment with what is on offer on the menu - you won't be disappointed with anything. Can't wait to go back - but be... More

This was to be our last lunch before flying home but we didn't expect such wonderful food. When the bottle of house white was perfect and the nibbles and homemade bread were so beautifully presented on grey slate plates and elegant white china by a very charming waitress we knew we had struck it lucky! I ordered a small bacon... More

We have visited this restaurant from its beginnings ..Although the style has become a bit fancier ..the staff are the same and it is really friendly and is always busy. The menu is now in both English and Spanish which is great (when we first used to go it was good fun just guessing with our very limited Spanish )... More

We tried here as it was always busy with locals which as you know is a good sign! Wasn't disappointed, it was lovely, we had four tapas dishes between two of us and there was plenty for us. Something a little different to the usual tapas - can fully recommend and we will be going again.
