Excellent paella in a nice venue

There is a small square with a fountain which unites the 3 or more restaurants acquired by 'los mellizos'. It seems they will continue growing in la carihuela. It's probably the best paella de la casa you can try over here. Though a little pricy in comparison to the offers in the area it's still... read more

We visited this restaurant as a birthday suprise for my husband whilst on holiday in Torremolinos. We ordered several mixed seafood starters and paella for mains. Its was out of this world. I would go back tomorrow. The service was impeccable and worth every penny. If you visit this area of Spain please make an effort to visit Casa Juan,... More

Have been here many times and never lets us down, the kids love the baby squid and we have the seafood platter and house salad. You know you have arrived back in Spain when you are sat outside in the warmth, a glass of beer or wine and a platter of fish on the table with the gentle hum of... More

As there are at least five restaurants with this name, all in this small area, we may be all talking about different ones. The one I visited is the largest one with lots of tables visible from the small square, and has no frontage onto the promenade. I am told the restaurants were founded by twin brothers (mellizos), but the... More

This is a large, popular restaurant with people waiting to get in. We had paella. It was bland. Some of the other dishes looked good. The prices were fair. Pace was hurried.

This was our first visit to Casa Juan & certainly will not be our last . One of the delights was seeing the Chefs preparing & cooking food in the open Kitchen. Service second to non. Will be back again in August ( can't wait ).

Been coming to casa juan for many years now. Great food and always a great atmosphere. Simply love it here. Had scallops on our last visit in a tomato sauce. Simply gorgeous.

Weve been going to Casa Juan over a period spanning 20 years or more and just returned after a 12-year gap. What a delight to find it remains one of the best seafood restaurants in 'La Carihuela' (and could probably trump most worldwide) despite having expended dramatically and become part of a larger group since our last visit. We had... More
