My wife and I had dinner there last night, most enjoyable. We sat inside although there were places available outside in the Plaza, but in September in the late evening, it can be rather chilly. To start, we had a large plate of mixed seafood - a little of everything - 6 or 7 different kinds of fried fish. For... More

Casa Juan was recommended to us and we were very disappointed. This is a huge restaurant and we felt we were on a conveyor belt of customers. Service was not friendly, waiters did not engage with you and when we were told that one of the dishes we had ordered was no longer available, they just brought back the menu... More

Although a well-established restaurant in a superb location, the food at Casa Juan is really no more than OK. Patatas should be fritos, but what we got were a little soggy. Too many service staff standing around chatting instead of paying attention to diners. Overpriced in comparison to other nicer facilities in Carihuela.

Fantastic good. Very large restaurant but quality and service not lacking. A little more expensive than other restaurants but well worth it. They even accommodated us giving us seats inside so we could watch Sevilla v Real Madrid.

Nobody speaks English. Very unpolite service and we didn't get what we had ordered. The seafood we have ordered wasn't so tasty. I'm sorry about this because we had been waiting for the dinner here.

We visited this place in July 2014. We had made a reservation for a table. When we arrived we arrived and asked for our table we were sent to search for it ourselves by a rude waiter who tried to exchange as few words with us as possible. We ordered a 30 euro dish for two people: 5 different types... More

This restaurant in La Carihuela is just a few minutes walk from neighboring Torremolinos. The place is enormous, encompassing several adjacent buildings and outdoor seating areas. Yet, it is so popular that the place began to fill up during peak dinner hour. The menu is extensive, consisting of mostly seafood dishes. While not inexpensive, we felt that the prices were... More

Near the fountain in the shade, a lovely place to sit for lunch. The menu had no English words, but it did have all pictures so we coped. We had good food and cold beer. The service was good. It was busy and had a good feel about it.
