We have been coming to Marbella for 12 years and are familiar with Estrecho a very nice Tapas bar in Old Town. Up to now we have not tried TierrAranda -- our mistake. It is right across the alley from Estrecho and is very, very good. Specializing in meat tapas and wine, the tapas are very tasty and well prepared... More

We keep going back to visit Javier in his little tapas bar, hidden away in the alley street of Marbella. It is a highly recommended stop for a good quality red wine from Ribera del Duero and amazing selection of cheeses and meats. The owner is a charming character who will be happy chatting to you about his amazing wine... More

Everything was perfect! And in addition to the fire place, Xavi, such a delightful and warm smile and ambiance... we'll be back.

I have been doing tapas a long time since I arrived in Spain in 1999 and thought I was bored of with the typical offerings which have become dull over time, however after visitings Javier's place last night, my enthusiasm for Spanish food is once again rejuvenated. Me and my friend ordered a variety of dishes, each one as delightful... More

Was here 2 weeks ago and loved it. Highly recommend the lamb chops - they are Devine ! Everything we had was delicious and the wine was superb. You should go if you like great food, wine and an authentic tapa experience.

We've had dinner at Javier's little taberna and it was more then we could expect! Found it op TripAdvisor and decided that we should give it a try. Great food at an reasonable price. Little explanation by the food and how it's prepared. In one word; Perfect! We are on a two week holiday and certainly going back.

Took my friend for Saturday lunch here. It was perfect! Not too busy and very relaxing considering it is in the center of Marbella. Varied and original tapas menu all beautifully cooked and seasoned. You simply can't go wrong when using such high quality ingridients! Everything we've tried was delicious. My personal favorite: Mushrooms with cheese curd and nuts. Great... More

A little haven of traditional but original tapas and larger portions hidden in a narrow alley in the Old Town in Marbella. A refreshing stop from the usual tourist places. The food was delicious and the atmosphere authentic
