Asked a local shopkeeper for a recommendation and this place didn't disappoint. We speak no Spanish but got by pointing at what others were eating and drinking. Creamed tomato was awesome as was the gazpacho. Prawns pil pil probably the best I've had. Started with a lovely rosé but then moved on to what the locals were drinking - a... More

Everything was lovely, the atmosphere, the relaxed but attentive service, the food, the decor. Authentic and relaxed with very tasty food.

We did our research before heading into town and while meandering up and down the cobbled streets, this was the restaurant which we happen to come across first and decided to give it a go for there was a really nice atmosphere inside. Once we sat down, we realised that everyone else around was Spanish and looking at the menu,... More

This restaurant is in front of bar el estrecho in the old historic quarter. The night before we ate at el estrecho and really liked it but we liked this one even more!

Unfortunately our Spanish is limited so we struggled to order, took pot luck and really did make a mess of it. Yes maybe our fault a little but a warning to anyone if you don't understand Spanish very well then take someone who does. If the restaurant just had a piece of paper with their menu in English it would... More

Food was very tasty- we had calamari, cod coquettes, patas bravas, olives and bread. Not much on the menu for vegetarians. Very reasonably priced considering in the old town.

We found this restaurant while wandering through old town. Great steak and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

If you are travelling to Marbella (where I go every year at least three times) and you want a taste of real Spanish food, this is the place to visit. Decorated as a "bodeguita", with plenty of photos on the super white walls, you have plenty of choice of food. You can order most of the dishes as a tapa,... More

Great spot in Marbella. Sure, the waiters can be grumpy as hell, and it can be chaotic, noisy but the food is great, and the atmosphere is fun. I've very fond memories of sitting around a table, with everyone sharing different tapas. The seafood and meat are equally excellent here. At the very least, you should include on a tapas... More
