Previously, my husband and myself always went to Da Bruno's in Cabopino for a 'special meal' but not any more (although Da Bruno's is very good!). The Playwright cannot be beaten for service, presentation and quality. The food looks and tastes amazing. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. We will definitely be going... More

From the minute we went in....terrific service. Pre dinner cocktails at the bar, super meal, friendly service and great music! Sunday afternoon weather not great, only one place to go..The Playwright.. Another lovely meal, early bird this time followed by an amazing session at the bar! Great music and fun, dancing, ....suffered greatly the next morning, all self inflicted!! Will... More

Situated in Elviria, Marbella just of the A7 this Irish owned restaurant has tow separate but linked areas. The bar is slightly more casual than the main restaurant but both offer the same menu. If you don't book in advance you will probably end up easting in the bar, so I suggest you book. Not over the top expensive but... More

What can we say about The Playwright? An amazing place to eat, with great service, great entertainment and a great feeling of actually being welcomed in a restaurant. Amy and the team are brilliant and Johnny G was brilliant on one of the nights we ate here. Food was fabulous, on every occasion, with four of us eating on two... More

We went to the PlayWright for dinner on Thursday last week whilst on holiday with the family. Met and greet from staff when we arrived was excellent bearing in mind a very nice up market restaurant and we had our granddaughter of two with us. They were very kind in positioning us in a place where Daisy could remain in... More

As a first timer I found the food and service superb . The menu was everything you could wish for and the food was extremely fresh and well prepared. The wine list was extensive and it was hard to find anything to complain about other than possibly the location. This may sound like nit picking but a view over a... More

We have seen this place and never went in. We own Marriott timeshare on the otherwise of the motorway and one of the staff recommended it. Food was excellent. Good portions, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. we got the early dining menu. it was a bit pricer after 7.30. good menu with lots of choice.... More

Heard so many good reviews about the place - really don't understand why we didn't go before. Was sooooo worth the wait ! Lovely interior, very friendly, attentative staff and some of the best food eaten in the Marbella area for ages. I went for the early bird menu - ample choice at a very realistic price. The rest of... More
