Best of Marbella

One of the best places for tapas in Marbella! Not a place you just stumple upon, as it is situated in a narrow alley in the beautiful old town. A must!

We have been to this bar several times before and it is definitely one of the best, tucked away along a tiny street, serving good food to both the tourists and local people. The tapas is always great - good portions, no skimping on ingredients and served with a smile. So, if you are in Marbella Old Town, don't just... More

As recommended by Mr. Javier of La Vila Marbella, we were starving for something to eat late that afternoon. How little we knew when we got into a character bar with such a warm exquisite decoration. We were almost immediately served a variety of local tapas, fresh and tasty beyond expectations. We ate and ate ...until we had to give... More

This bar is located in a narrow walkway, and it seems unassuming when you enter. The food in the display seems to lack appeal, but if you get a table, take it, because this place is hopping at peak hours. The kitchen does a great job of transforming the unappealing display into some remarkably good food. We ordered a wide... More

Was recommended this tapas bar from our hotel. It was really good tapas and great service. And very good value too. If you are looking for a local hangout with good traditional tapas - go here!

We went here on the recommendation of the staff of Hotel Claude. The restaurant is tucked away on a side street. Grab a map and find it! (Another good spot is across the street Taberna de la Nina del Pisto.) We asked our waiter to bring us a selection of their most popular tapas dishes. We enjoyed everything. Tourists were... More

If you are looking for the true taste of Spanish food, and if you can find it, this is the place to go. The menu is all in Spanish but if you are not sure what's what, the staff will explain it to you and even show you the dishes, as they are all on display in a glass cabinet.... More

Love this place, full of Spanish people so it must be good! Tucked away in the Old Town, needs local knowledge to find it, but you will not be disappointed when you do. Tapas are always excellent and well cooked and presented,. The wines not bad either!!

We have been visiting El Estrecho for many years and find it excellent. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food and great value. We couldn't ask for more.

Recommended to us by our hotel, you would never find this without local knowledge. Lots of choice of excellent fresh tapas. The waiters were excellent in their broken English explained all dishes in the Spanish written menu. Lots of local families were always coming in and out which also tells you how good it is. 6 different tapas couple of... More
