Delicious food, great sangria and friendly staff. We found it to be relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely return, and I highly recommend this place.

Had a great selection of tapas and staff was super friendly. We lucked out and were able to get a table. At about 10:00 PM there were people waiting to get a table. Loved the location in the narrow alley of old town.

In one of the most narrow streets in Marbella Old Town, thas the name "El Estrecho"this is an old tapas restaurant, with a very nice bar, some lovely details, but unfortunately with a very indifferent stuff and average tapas dishes. I would probably go again to have a quick bite and a drink at the bar but only for a... More

What a fantastic Tapas bar. We asked our hotel receptionist where would they eat and they recommended this place. it's in the old part of Marbella down a narrow alley but once found, a real gem! Menu is in Spanish but the young man serving us spoke good English. He explained everything to us. The food was delicious and very... More

We are foodies and have been to well over 50 restaurants in Andalucia in the past 2 years. This is our favorite tapas restaurant so far. Great selection and great taste! Great for families with little kids too. And very affordable. The atmosphere is not great but with food this good no one cares!

Found this after trying to find a traditional tapas restaurant in Marbella. Took us a while to find as hidden in the authentic streets of Old Town, and we are a bit rubbish at map reading, but well worth the effort. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. Unfortunately we don't speak Spanish and as the menu was completely in... More

I've been visiting Spain for 28 years now and love tapas, this was genuinely the best I've had... All fresh, extremely tasty and great value. The restaurant itself and staff are all fantastic and all that you need... I'd recommend the albondigas, langoustine pil pil, calla ares and the pork in tomato sauce and also the Shiraz was lovely. Will... More

Although a year since we last visited, we were greeted like long lost friends by Alfonso (the owner) and the ever efficient Jonathan. Here you can not only see some of the dishes in the cold cabinet, but see it being cooked just at the side of the bar. No matter what your choice is, the food never fails to... More

El Estrecho was recommended to us by the guy at our hotel. Once we found it, we went back three times!! The tapas was lovely, even the one with tripe in it, which I tried just for the hell of it. It is a family owned bar and the lads behind the bar are friendly and very welcoming. They even... More

Another successful visit to el estrecho on our annual trip to marbella. This is a cute little restaurant down a narrow alleyway which serves terrific tapas. Try the prawns pil pil, chorizo in wine, calamari, rosado and some lovely salads. All washed down with a decent house wine and at an absolutely fantastic price. Well worth a visit :)
