We went here on the recommendation of the staff of Hotel Claude. The restaurant is tucked away on a side street. Grab a map and find it! (Another good spot is across the street Taberna de la Nina del Pisto.) We asked our waiter to bring us a selection of their most popular tapas dishes. We enjoyed everything. Tourists were... More

If you are looking for the true taste of Spanish food, and if you can find it, this is the place to go. The menu is all in Spanish but if you are not sure what's what, the staff will explain it to you and even show you the dishes, as they are all on display in a glass cabinet.... More

Love this place, full of Spanish people so it must be good! Tucked away in the Old Town, needs local knowledge to find it, but you will not be disappointed when you do. Tapas are always excellent and well cooked and presented,. The wines not bad either!!

We have been visiting El Estrecho for many years and find it excellent. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food and great value. We couldn't ask for more.

Recommended to us by our hotel, you would never find this without local knowledge. Lots of choice of excellent fresh tapas. The waiters were excellent in their broken English explained all dishes in the Spanish written menu. Lots of local families were always coming in and out which also tells you how good it is. 6 different tapas couple of... More

Where to start. It's tucked in a skinny passageway in the old town, easilly accessible but just not tourist central. The menu is only Spanish but the staff will do their best to translate. Good value, very good quality tapas. For sure a few surprises but none that failed to please. Plenty of families, testament to their ability to accommodate... More

We've been here 2 years on the run and the food is excellent. The menu is all in Spanish but you can work out some and the waiter is very happy to explain the rest - all part of the experience! All the food is great, especially the Prawns in garlic, and the prices are very reasonable. You can have... More

We love tapas but its always a challenging night out for us as my husband doesn't eat Pork. I had read on TA that the menu was in Spanish so had clued up on everything and had even learnt to say "my husband doesn't eat Pork" in Spanish - impressive or what. However, we needn't have worried. From the moment... More

At 6pm, the place is full of tourists and families, enjoying great tapas , and well priced drinks. By 830pm, the tourists have moved on, and a younger , more local crowd at at the bar and outside; it feels like the party is just beginning!
