Friendly little bar

We came across this little bar last Christmas and loved the cosy atmosphere and the welcome we received. Since then we have visited every time we go to Malaga. We enjoy watching the locals calling in for food and drink and like to see what they order, then we order the same! It's very Spanish, but... read more

My husband and I have visited Malaga twice a year for the last 12 years. About 7 years ago we came across this wonderful little tapas bar on Calle Alamos. Since then we always go there the first and last day of our holidays. We love the variety of the food which is always freshly cooked. The selection of wine... More

Called in before visiting a nearby restaurant. This appeared to be a typical Spanish bar. However we ordered two glasses of ordinary Spanish white wine and received thimblefuls in each. Notwithstanding a few olives, at €2.5 a glass this was excessive sorry!

Comparatively expensive for relatively small portions by tapas standards. The food was nice though and the bar has a good atmosphere.

This is a little Spanish tapas bar with class charm, quality and excellent service, a little gem in middle of malaga Wouldn't want it to get spoilt so don't tell anyone We stumbled on it by chance, and very glad we did, went there the following night too Excellent little bar serving range of Spanish wines and beers We has... Visited 10pm on Dec.25th, and the little place was full of locals. Warm and charming. With help of a lovely Spanish couple, we got served 3 small tapas including fantastic clam seafood soup- very small but extremely tasty!

If you are looking for an authentic place to have tapas in the centre of Malaga then this is definitely the place. As soon as you walk in the door you will immediately feel at home. It doesn't matter whether you are a tourist or a local, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The service couldn't be better. There... More

We came across this lovely little bar/restaurant on our recent trip to Malaga. I have never met staff who were so happy and kind. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were brilliant. This is a hidden little gem. Its not posh and fancy but rather very charismatic and full of character. The bar is laden with fresh... More

Ok, we can all bang on about 'authenticity' and 'where the locals go'. So, I will try to be objective. The staff are friendly, they acknowledge you with a smile, and make attempts to communicate. Beer is cold and cheap, tinto is quality, and also cheap. *Every* drink is served with a tapa, always different. I love the look of... More

We went there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was our first day in Spain. The notes were good so we dropped in. The food wasn't tasty at all. Finally we realised that we paid for more than we ordered.
