Lovely food in the heart of Malaga!

On a blisteringly hot day, this great restaurant was a welcome oasis. Well-priced and freshly cooked, it made a great lunch venue. Particularly good was the whitebait/green peppers/eggs dish - unusual but delicious!

Looks nice, but the food is very disappointing. A hamburger cooked dry, on a poor bun, without any sauce but with really bad french fries. An omelet that was still running, with undefined ingredients (were they mushrooms or foie gras??). Waitress did not speak any English and did not understand what we wanted half of the time. Cannot recommend it.

During our stay of 5 days in Malaga we have been here several times, for coffee, breakfast and dinner. The food was always very tasteful and the service was very good. It is placed just outside the main-shopping area and it's a lively place. Try this restaurant!

We were looking for dinner in the pedestrian shopping area of Malaga and a found it a bit overwhelming to try and find somewhere inviting. The server Tanya at DeSal patiently explained that the kitchen didnt open until 8pm, and we could either come back or sit and enjoy tapas and wine etc. We decided to stay for wine as... More

Went here twice with my family, and the impression was very good regarding both service and food. We ordered both tapas and main dishes, and everyhing was very tasty, delicately presented and reasonably priced, considering the more "modern" take on spanish food. The beer was also remarkably fresh and perfectly chilled to my taste. Recommended!

We went there after a strolling in the city center for some tapas and a drink, the drinks were pretentious and non sense, my sangria was a glass of small pieces of ice with a bad tasting wine that has nothing to do with sangria and was totally out of time for winter, the mini octopus skewers were old and... I would like to start off saying that, my wife and I have a business in Malaga that serves as a "concierge" service to a good amount of guests coming to enjoy the city on vacation.... After some bad feedback from various guests, we decided to try out De Sal for ourselves. This experience was not good from the moment... More
