We were two people and went to La Tranca because its ranking is very high and there were many very good reviews published on TripAdvisor. The place is quite small with few tables, but although the relatively high number of customers is possible to sit and eat without waiting too much (many customers stand outside just drinking a beer). The... More

I was recommended by a friend to try this little gem of a place for some tapas and drinks during a 2 hour window transiting through Malaga airport. Stepping in through the airy entrance tentatively with my case I was made to feel at home instantly, being greeted and served with big smiles from Ana who could not have been... More

La Tranca tapas bar in Málaga is definitely worth a visit just for the experience, the waiter and owner is a very charismatic guy who speaks perfect English and will make you feel completely welcome. All the staff is friendly and attentive, the tapas are delicious like for example the “pata” (roasted pork served with oily toasted bread) or the... More

This is where Tripadvisor isn't able to filter enough. Just returned from a holiday to Malaga and tried to visit most of tripadvisors 'top' eateries... This is a bar. Don't go for an outstanding culinary experience or fine romantic dining. Expect to sit at the bar and order decent Tapas which is warmed in a microwave or warmed in the... More

A really relaxed bar with good house wine. Really friendly and welcoming host/barman who is from Argentina and fantastic music. On a busy street and a little bit away from the tourist traps which is good. Definitely recommended for a first or last drink of the night. Very popular with the young and trendy locals but clientele is mixed and... More

This is a small local bar, with lots going for it. The staff and customers all friendly, and the tapas great. We enjoyed the open air atmosphere, and the different tapas, wine and beer. My partner loved the local artesian beer. Very bitter, but to his liking. The place is worth finding and enjoying an afternoon of relaxed fun, food... More
