Great beach restaurant in peaceful Malaga

Based in peaceful eastern neighborhood of Malaga, El Zagal is one of the bests restaurants that stands on the beach, facing the mediterranean see. You'lll enjoy grilled fish, calamari, seafood salads, beer, a tinto de verano (kinda wine, fresh and red, excellent after a long day strolling along... read more

Great place for a drink right on the beach. Sardine skewers only 2 Euro charcoal grilled to order. Full of locals all afternoon til sunset.

Sardines were ok, but the grilled squid was overcooked at the outside and not cooked inside. Would not really recommend it...

We went there because of the excellent tripadvisor reviews, but were disappointed. (Later on we wondered that three of the reviewers who rated euphorically good only reviewed this one location) For a beach bar the price was high, the quality, the service and the atmosphere low average. We had: 15 € Grilled Dorada served with cooked potatoes was good price... More
