Excellent food and service

We found this great restaurant by chance just off the main street, it looked inviting. we were not disapointed the food was delicious, and the staff ( Victor served us) attentive and cheerful. we went back on 2 more occasions during our holiday and I would say it is value for money.

Had read about this so thought we should visit. Situated in a tiny side street a few mins from Constitucion. Ordered a couple of dishes each, starters and mains, then the waiter came back and said he thought we'd be overfaced as the dishes were quite large portions. He recommended we share one course each and he wasn't wrong. The... More

To go to eat in La Cosmopolita is a experience in several levels. As a paritcipant in a presstrip we got to be served food I never seen or tasted before, like bone marrow and prawns tartar. The fushion between Iberian ribs and Asian taste was amazingly good. The enviroment and the service was great! Thanks for having me as... More

This was our third taps of the afternoon and we were delighted. Had bone marrow and shrimp tartar. A new combo to be sure. Helps to know a little Spanish.

We discovered La Cosmopolita on a recent wander around Malaga city centre on Friday night. The menu is simple with plenty of meat and fish dishes. Our meal of pork lion, serve rare, and slices of fried potatoes was delicious. This in itself is worth a return trip. The menu is expensive but this normal for decent city centre restaurants.... Off the beaten track, but well worth the visit. This was a culinary highlight of our trip to Malaga! The service and food were out of this world. I wish we had found it sooner as we would have gone back.

The quality of the food in this place is much better than at the other restaurants nearby. The food is fresh and simple but it is not booring. The food is little bit more expensive here but I dont think it is too much because the food is really good. I also loved the decoration in this place. If you... More

We had an wonderful dinner at La Cosmopolitan during Holy Week. We stopped by earlier in the evening and reserved a table for a bit later. When we arrived, they promptly sat us at a nice table outside. The restaurant was filled with locals enjoying a holiday meal with family and friends. Unfortunately, I can only remember one of the... You are well advised to reserve here as it gets really busy later in the evening. Seating is available inside and out and at the bar. Helpful and friendly, and efficient waiters will talk you through menu and make suggestions and the sommelier will find as he did for us, an excellent house rioja for 16 euros . The chef... More

We stumbled upon this cosy restaurant having fought off numerous street-botherers for other establishments. It was full of locals enjoying a drink after work (or siesta?) The staff were friendly and welcoming. Being English and stupid, I found the menu a bit confusing but the food we ended up with was delicious and the local wine exceptional.
