Great food but only 2 tables inside, not good if its raining. But they do a takeaway service. No coffee either

During my week in Spain, I was lucky enough to come to El Piano twice. It's located on a pedestrian-only street with lots of bars and cafés near the Picasso museum. Both times there was a line of local people who were ordering take-out. I took the "menu" deal both times, and was pleasantly surprised that the options are changed... More

This is a great place for vegetarians and vegans! They serve no meat nor fish, but plenty of food with plant protein! Exciting dishes from different countries, and tasty indeed! The only thing that could have been a bit better was the service (the waiter/lady seemed a bit impatient with our order) and it was an ok amount of food,... More

Ok, I'm always grateful when I find a place to eat were everything on the menu is edible... Rare for Gluten free Vegans! But my experience here was just ok. First I felt uncomfortable with the lady preparing the food as when I tried to speak she felt it necessary to go in to a hysterical laughter...OK my Spanish sucks...I... More

I have read and reread your review...it's quite a mixed bag... as a gluten-free vegan with few dining choices EL PIANO should have been perfect for you...and in some ways it seems it was, lots of nice remarks about the flavours and the cake, the quality and quantity of the selections available... Thanks for all that. It seems you were... More

We called at el Piano whilst on a break in Malaga this week. Situated in a windswept, cold, dirty alleyway it was closed on Tuesday lunchtime, Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening and when we found it open on Thursday lunchtime we were told they were just closing up. I can't comment on the food as we couldn't find it open... More

Yes certainly we are open. But we are open in Spain which means that between 4pm and 8pm we close. Thanks for trying to come and see us and we hope you come by again. More

Personally I did not like the food here as I found it very bland for my taste. The two cakes we had as a takeaway tasted dry and stale. On the plus side, the staff are very nice and helpful. Please give this place a chance as they may have just been having an off day....or maybe it was just... More

To put it simply, this restaurant makes me want to come back to Malaga. I was here last summer and although I have never written a Tripadvisor review, I felt compelled to write about this place nearly 8 months after I visited! I came in not expecting much and was 100% blown away by the meal I received - AMAZING.... More

I fail to see how this establishment comes under the heading of " restaurant " it is simply a takeaway with a couple of tables outside in the street, there is no service at all, the food is sadly very poor, I live in Malaga and use many restaurants and I was very disappointed with my visit to El Piano,... Fresh local produce, organic where possible (and during these months much of it from our farm) combined with naturally wholly vegan and gluten-free recipes from around the world is not for everyone. Customers should always try and spend their money on something that gives them pleasure, and you are right, we are lucky in Málaga to have many good places... More
