Initially chosen so that one person could have a burger ( huge and tasty ) and the other pasta ( also tasty) . It was pleasant to sit outside and listen to the buskers and see the sights in the sun. It was a reasonable price given the service and location and the actual interior of the building was spectacular.

We ate lunch here on 1 February 2016 on a lovely sunny and warm winter’s day. The restaurant is well located overlooking the square and is good for people watching and listening to the strolling players. The arrival of proper sized beers with little froth set the tone for the meal. We plumped for ling in batter with mild curry... More

Hubby just couldn't face another tapas and begged for a hamburger. It was big, and came with bacon and cheese so he was quite happy. I had a chicken burger with coleslaw. The buns were a brown bread and were OK, Hubby finished his but I didn't, preferring to extract the meat and miss some carbs. They were both quite... More

We were attracted to this place the first time round because of the A-frame board advertising all the different brunch options in both Spanish and English. The staff were very attentive as soon as we sat down, although the owner's priority was to get our dog Puck a bowl of water and some freshly cooked chicken. So that did it... More

We often go to both restaurants (one in Plaza de la Merced and the other next to El Pimpi). We have morning coffee, sometimes in the evenings enjoying one of their delicious and very reasonably priced pizzas, and tapas too. Would recommend the pimientos del padre, delicious green peppers and their humus is fab too. Love the black pudding and... More

So we should have known when every single table at El Pimpi was full, with people standing and waiting to find an open table, yet still not choosing this place. The service was really bad. I don't know why, but it was. Maybe they're understaffed. We couldn't tell you about the food, as we never got a chance to order... More

Great breakfast and friendly and efficient service. I only had a little time however the staff were quick and accommodating and it didn't feel rushed. Pleasant guitar player just outside too.

A little pricier than some other places in town (around 13 euros for a burger and chips), but the food is good and the service was quick. The waiters knew some English and if, like me, you're scouring Malaga for its few veggie-friendly eateries, you could do worse than here. The Greek spinach burger was excellent, and they do veggie...
