Uninterested and uninformed waitress spoiled our experience and food mediocre. Potatoes, potatoes, potatoes made up most of the ingredients of the scrambled eggs and special salad. Spinach soup with fresh cheese was the best dish. Expensive and nothing out of the ordinary.

Right in the centre of the beautiful town centre of Malaga. We went twice during our holiday in September. On both occasions the food was excellent from a good menu but on our second visit the management did not want the four of us to sit inside. The outside tables were rather too public for our visit. We felt the... More

An excellent restaurant. We have eaten here a few times and particularly enjoy the lamb cutlets although we have also eaten other meat and fish dishes which we have found really good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Recommended by the hotel we were staying at. Good choice. Excellent food, lots of fish and dishes but also vegetarian. The vegetarian paella was delicious. Good prices for top notch food.

Excellent food, great wines and friendly staff - highly recommended. We particularly enjoyed the baby broad beans with serrano ham.

This place is a staple for us when we visit Malaga and we excited about going again. It was then, with disappointment, we left our most recent visit feeling we won't be back again. In our opinion, the prices had gone up, the choices taken a turn for the worse and tourists tolerated rather welcomed. It was a restaurant it... More

First time here as I used to eat in El Rescoldo regularly and then saw Javier was at El Trillo. Four of us had two meals here and they were excellent. We enjoyed great steaks and seafood whilst sitting outside and watching the world go by. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Great place just off Calle Larios to sit at the high tables, watch the world go by, and have some tapas and wine! The croquettes were the best we have tasted! They were full of fresh potatoe unlike some of the ones we had had previously! The duck pate with caramelised onions and Camembert was also delicious and the wine... More

Yes, maybe you can eat for less money but the quality of the food is very high. We got "bocconcini di rana pescatrice" and a "fritto misto" (sorry I do not how to translate them) and the very sooo good. Especially the Rana pescatrice which was really superb. Then a dessert, 2 bottle of water and 2 glasses of wine... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant as we fancied steak for dinner . We had no reservation which was not a problem the hostess arranged for a table for us outside so we could watch the World Cup we thought wow this is fantastic. As we had a big lunch we decided easy order chateaubriand for two , a bottle of... More
