Excellent food, great wines and friendly staff - highly recommended. We particularly enjoyed the baby broad beans with serrano ham.

This place is a staple for us when we visit Malaga and we excited about going again. It was then, with disappointment, we left our most recent visit feeling we won't be back again. In our opinion, the prices had gone up, the choices taken a turn for the worse and tourists tolerated rather welcomed. It was a restaurant it... More

First time here as I used to eat in El Rescoldo regularly and then saw Javier was at El Trillo. Four of us had two meals here and they were excellent. We enjoyed great steaks and seafood whilst sitting outside and watching the world go by. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Great place just off Calle Larios to sit at the high tables, watch the world go by, and have some tapas and wine! The croquettes were the best we have tasted! They were full of fresh potatoe unlike some of the ones we had had previously! The duck pate with caramelised onions and Camembert was also delicious and the wine... More

Yes, maybe you can eat for less money but the quality of the food is very high. We got "bocconcini di rana pescatrice" and a "fritto misto" (sorry I do not how to translate them) and the very sooo good. Especially the Rana pescatrice which was really superb. Then a dessert, 2 bottle of water and 2 glasses of wine... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant as we fancied steak for dinner . We had no reservation which was not a problem the hostess arranged for a table for us outside so we could watch the World Cup we thought wow this is fantastic. As we had a big lunch we decided easy order chateaubriand for two , a bottle of... More

We ate a quick lunch, I ate a shoulder of lamb and my wife had a sirloin steak. Both were very good. Service was good and not over bearing. For a nice atmosphere I would recommend sitting inside. Outside the "singers" trying to hassle a few Euros from you can be quite annoying.

Located on a narrow street off of the Calle Marques de Larios In Malaga's old city, El Trillo was a pleasant find on a Sunday afternoon. Dining outside, the sunny warm weather, the service and food all made for a delightful meal. Hope to be treated by Hana, a kind and efficient server, try the Jamon and Melon prepared with... More

Had a great meal here with attentive service, very good food and wine. The street accordion players can be somewhat annoying, but they are just part of the local landscape. A very enjoyable meal with our friends.

We booked an Easter trip to Malaga at the last minute because our flight to Madeira was cancelled by the airline. On the web we found a marvellous apartment overlooking the El Merced plaza, with a grandstand view of some of the medieval parades. On the ground floor was a popular and very good restaurant where we enjoyed the food... More
