Cool bar for great tapa

Situated close to our hotel we stumbled on El Trillo and went back each day for good wine, fantastic ham and just a great vibe. Will be back and having seen the quality of the food served off the main menu we will be eating in

This restaurant is just off a main shopping street, close to the historic cathedral. It is a wonderful setting, typically Spanish. The food and wine were fantastic. My girlfriend and I shared a bottle of Rioja, which was recommended by the waiter- an excellent choice. We also both had the Iberian pork which was absolutely delicious, served with potatoes and... We wanted to go to los mellizos but was too busy and we find this restaurant nearby. Bad decision! Important tip - do not eat PAELLA, it's not the speciality! We couldn't eat it, very slow service. Rude bartenders and prices too expensive. Not reccomended at all.

The terrace of the restaurant is great. It is in a quiet street in Malaga city center. The variety of wines to zip is fantastic, and the waiter always help you to choose the best one depending on the meals. I am quite a fan of cod fish, and the diversity of dishes of the fish is great. They also... More

We ate here on our honeymoon and it was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The food was tasy and well presented, the house Rioja was the best (spent rest of holiday trying to find the same - we were on a cruise so travelling around and never did find it). We finished with the most... More

The sirloin steak and the entrecote here is absolutely amazing! Perfectly grilled and very tender. We visited El Trillo twice while visiting Malaga in January 2015. The restaurant is open from 12.00 to late evening, so if you need to eat earlier than eight in the evening, El Trillo is a good choice! The desserts are also lovely! Especially the... More

An excellent restaurant located close to the hotels, just off the main street Marques de Larios. We had a very friendly welcome and were shown to a nice table in the lovely interior of the restaurant. We ate grilled sole which was beautiful, the waited filleted it for us at the table. We had figs in wine for dessert which... More

Visited this restaurant as part of a group of 6 and we all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely, with a traditional Spanish appearance. Serving staff were smartly dressed, friendly and efficient. There were a variety of Spanish mains and tapas on the menu, including vegetarian options. One of the highlights was the way the waiters served the food.... More
