Very good seafood

Good restaurant with excellent seafood. We had tapas and mains - a bit confused about it being mains or tapas. Quality was really good, though. Waiter was very good and the service in general was good. We had a really good white wine to the meal, so all in all - Los Mellizos is recommendable.

Staff should be working in some other kind of profession. THAT BAD. And it's so easy to smile, for haven sake....!!! It was like trying to get a nice word, a smile. NOTHING. Well, not to return back NEVER EVER. Food not bad, nothing to write home about, just acceptable.

Just arrived Málaga at 22H and stay in Hotel Don Curro, Los Mellizos just next to hotel. And the Squids is fatastic, fresh with reasonable price. Sangria here is a bit sweet compares to Barcelona. Anyway, nice to have a bite here.

On the recommendation of the concierge at my hotel, I stopped by this place and ate downstairs near the bar on my first day in Spain. The staff could not possibly have been warmer and more welcoming to a solo diner. A wonderfully prepared sangria, great selection of wines, beautifully carved jamon, and an accommodating chef who made a seafood-laden... More

We dumped our bags in the hotel on arrival, threw on some shorts and headed into the streets for our first lunch. We weren't disappointed. We sat outside and, although new to the mix of tapas and mains on the same menu, between us we managed to share the dishes of fresh seafood cooked in a variety of ways, washed... More

We were a party of four and ate here and had a very good lunch. My wife had the fried rosada and I had the rosada a la plancha. The other two in our party had the fried bacalao. Everrything was very good and we enjoyed this fish lunch.

. Before I forget, I'll start by saying that the ladies loos are very good! This is important if you are out and about all day as a tourist - you need good loos. We have been here several times, with Spanish cousins who live in Malaga. It is very popular with the locals, so if you are a biggish... More

My wife and I ate here on the recommendation of our hotel a week or so ago. While we were perusing the menu, the couple at the next table was about to leave, and they requested their bill. There was a discussion about the bill, the waiter apologized profusely, and they were brought a small glass of some drink as... More

The hotel recommended Los Mellizos. They own two restaurants on opposite sides of the little road with identical menus. We arrived at 1.30 in the traditional restaurant and there was'nt many people but by 2.50 every table was taken with local people and the place was buzzing. Wine list good, a bit pricey but fair and chose a mixed fried... More
