Wife and I stayed at the attached Villa Guadalupe for 3 days. First night, we just had a light meal - salads and puddings. My octopus salad was outstanding. Served on sauteed potatoes and drizzled in some type spicy sauce. The octopus melted in my mouth. But my wife's cherrywood smoked pork salad put it to shame. It was that... More

Amazing food with such a wonderful combination of flavor and atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and always aiming to please! A nice change from the norm. I have special strict dietary needs which they were more than willing to accommodate for. We loved our food and found the price of staying over with dinner to be very reasonable as... More

The plates looked like a piece of art. The food is very well prepared, everything made on site and fresh. And it tastes as great as it looks. The prices are reasonable and considering it is prepared by a chef, great value for the money. Even during busy times, service is great and the venue, overlooking the Mediterranean, makes it... We arrived shortly before sunset on Dec 26 and were treated to one of the most beautiful displays of colour you could imagine. That set the mood. We ordered dinner and the evening just kept getting better. The seafood chowder was particularly good. The service was extremely attentive. There were 6 of us and we all commented after we left... We live near Malaga and "googled": "Restaurant with a view". We were not disappointed! Wow! The view over Malaga and the coast was stunning. However it paled in comparison to the food; my husband and son had starters: Seafood Chowder and Pâte, both delicious (I had to test them of course! ). Then I ordered Angus Beef rib (72hours cooked),... More

The restaurant is also known as Hotel Villa Guadalupe. We have already been there in the past and each time we are in Malaga we try to book for dinner and we made it again this time. The restaurant overlooks Malaga city and in the evening the view is quite impressive. Candace welcomed us with her nice smile into the... More

In our 5 night stay at Villa Guadalupe, the hotel in which Amador restaurant is located, we had dinner 3 times at Amador. We tried many of the items on the menu, and enjoyed all of them. The chef's strength and creativity is particularly noticeable with appetizers and entrees. We enjoyed the AjoBlanco soup, several of the fish dishes, and... More
