The Fine Art of Tapas

Easy to walk by this eatery which would be a mistake. It serves arguably the best tapas in the city. This is food that has artistry, delicacy and taste to savour as well as admire. Uvedoble is small. This is a small tapas bar, quite heavily used, near the cathedral. It serves interesting 'boutique tapas' e.g. soft ham hock with pistachio and parsnip puree. The house red wine is excellent and very good value. A great find and great value.

If you are lucky enough to get a table, then you will surely enjoy the interesting tapas here. The scallop salad was big for the price, and (especially) the oxtail albondigas was outstanding. The place is just a bit more interesting than most of the others in the city. We were really impressed with the value for money too.

Was expecting great things after reading reviews here and chose this restaurant for our one night in malaga. Food was good but not great. Tortilla was very wet and not cooked through. Some other dishes just not as tasty as we expected.

Reading great reviews for this restaurant thought we should give it a try on our visit to Malaga. First ordered croquettes very little taste and gluey, Next was sword fish with avocado, the waiter failed to tell us they had no avocado the dish was brought with tomato salsa no explanation until asked about the avocado Third dish lamb and... After reading a review from the guardian that this was a must tapas bar to visit, we just had to go. We arrived at 8pm and there were a few people already seated inside and outside the premisis. The lovely bar man and along and suggested his house red. it was delicious. Next I asked if he would suggest what... More

thus is a tiny place, 2 tables in the pavement, 2 inside plus 3 high tables and a couple of seats at the bar. Little has been spent on decor and you would walk by unless you knew if it. However it serves some of the best and most inventive tapas in Malaga. Mushroom empanadillitas had an intense mushroom flavour,... More

Found this little gem after reading a review in The Guardian, it's small and narrow which you could easily walk past, but don't let that put you off. We arrived just after 8pm and within 20 minutes there were people queuing up to get a seat. With less than a dozen tables inside and a few outside you have to... More

Lucky to get a space at this fab spot while visiting Malaga. We ordered the croquettes, local squid on bed of black noodles, salmon dish and lamb with cous cous. All hit the spot, a must do visit if you like the tapas.

On my family's visit to Spain, I wanted them to taste the typical spanish cuisine but the same tapas day in and day out could get boring. I was so happy to find uvedoble, a quaint (there aren't more than 9 tables inside) tapas restaurant just a stones throw from the cathedral and the alcazaba. The prices are astounding, the... More
