A gem of a tapas bar

Lucky to get a space at this fab spot while visiting Malaga. We ordered the croquettes, local squid on bed of black noodles, salmon dish and lamb with cous cous. All hit the spot, a must do visit if you like the tapas.

On my family's visit to Spain, I wanted them to taste the typical spanish cuisine but the same tapas day in and day out could get boring. I was so happy to find uvedoble, a quaint (there aren't more than 9 tables inside) tapas restaurant just a stones throw from the cathedral and the alcazaba. The prices are astounding, the... More

We had lunch here and the food was excellent. It is a narrow restaurant just by the Alcazaba. The tapas were a nice blend of traditional and modern, and all were tasty. The place as largely frequented by locals, but they spoke good english, which was nice.

This is the second time eating at this wonderful hole in the wall. Very different tapas from the run of the mill tapas bar. The Fideos Negros Toastados with Calamaritos is just divine, take a tapas portion (plenty for two ) if you want to try more dishes. Chistora con patatas pajas is also worth a try. Tiras Iberica is... This is a modern style tapas restaurant, with some old faithfuls like croquetas but mostly modern tapas of a very high quality. We went there twice as food was so good we wanted to try more dishes. The fideos tostados were incredible, as was the lagartillo de ternera and the tuna. In fact, everything was excellent - just go and... More

A definite cut above the usual tapas menu, more unusual, with some delicious foodie combinations. House wine by the glass excellent. It is a bar with great food rather than 1st class restaurant, but the service is excellent and unhurried.

Wonderful menu, especially recommend the fried noodles with squid. Great gin selection for generous gin and tonic. It's small and gets busy so go earlier in the evening - 8 - 8.30pm. Service efficient and friendly. We went back three times in three days, once for dinner and twice for small mid afternoon tapas as menu so yummy. Staff very... More

If you are in Malaga, you need to eat at this restaurant. Small and unassuming, Uvedoble prepares some of the best tapas around. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the price is spot on as well. We actually made several trips to this restaurant on our holiday, and it never disappointed. Try to get the warm scallop salad if... More

Arrived early - just after 8 pm and got a table for two in this small, modern ,very popular tapas bar.Excellent service in spite of the fact there was just one server for about twenty people.By 8.30 the place was full -with people queueing outside. Only one red ,one white and one rose by the glass, but the quality was good... More

Small tapas bar near the cathedral, obviously very popular also amogst locals. Walked by a few times and decided to give it a try on lunch on Saturday. Went early which was a good move as the place was soon crowded and there were people queuing outside. Service maybe a bit disorganized but that was more than compensated by the... More
