We've visited Malaga and surroundings for ten days this summer. We have tried many different places where to eat, and this place turned out to be our favorite. We can eat plenty of good fish at a very good price, and have it with very good and yet affordable wines. The wines are produced bu the owner of the place,... More

I regularly go to quitapenas when I'm in the mood for fish. It's always of excellent quality and reasonably priced, a really traditional restaurant that doesn't take advantage of tourists. Must tries are the "rosada a la plancha" and the "chanquetes" and a "pincho de gambas". Definitely recommend this restaurant to any fish fan, enjoy!!!!

We went there with a Groupon ticket, at the end we had less food for a higher price than in any other "chiringuito" that you can find on the Costa del Sol. The food was poor, without any taste, except for the squids that were acceptable. Also the service could be better, the waiters were quite unfriendly.

We were so looking forward to a nice supper and an evening at Teatro Cervantes to see a performance of Beethoven 9. followed by Carmina Burana. It was just as well that we had left plenty of contingency time for the journey, however we had not allowed for the chaos that the un-signposted diversion in the middle of Malaga was... More

I treated friends to the lobster and rice meal advertised by this restaurant using a voucher via Groupon.es. This meant that I apparently paid less than the normal menu price but that shouldn't have compromised the quality. The waiters were very friendly and service was fine. There was evidence of the lobster shell etc but negligible meat. All four of... More

Went twice for lunch and it was a good example of the typical seafood Malaga has to offer. The very hard-working waiters are friendly and make you feel welcome.

The fish here is delicious, the atmosphere and setting so Spanish. We seem to be drawn back to it on each visit. This is a taste of Malaga and well worth a visit.

We ate at the little restaurant which is next door to a florist. We sat right outside right next to the service window. We ordered what we could in Spanish, and the waiters were wonderfully patient and enjoyed some laughs with us in broken english. We ordered seafood - grilled prawns, calamari and grilled clams, each dish was delicious and... More

We've been to this restaurant several times. We make it a habit to eat here everytime we go to Malaga roughly 2-3 times each visit. The Bacalao is the best we've tasted and they do their own wines too which is good. I visited again but this time on my own. I went on my first day and ordered the... More
