The food were simply awesome and we love the vibe and decorations of the restaurant. They have complete halal menu (with English Translation). Definitely will comeback for another meal.

My first experience of moroccan food so I can't compare but we really enjoyed it. After reading other trip advisor reviews, we went there one lunch time and booked a table for Friday night. The restaurant is very small and was very busy which made for a really good atmosphere. The whole experience made it feel like an 'occasion' to... More

After reading several articles and comments about marrocan restaurants in Malaga and specially about Al Yamal we went there for lunch. We had pita bread with humus, kofta and cous cous with lamb. Everything was superbly cooked and tasty. The atmosphere very cosy and typical Arabic, but not to much. Before giving the highest rank on Tripadvisor we need to... More

Just off Alameda Principal but the opposite side to most of the shops and restaurants. A small, atmospheric and friendly restaurant. We had authentic Moroccan tagines followed by mint tea and sweet Moroccan pastries. They also have a selection of Moroccan wines. We turned up at lunchtime but you may need to book as there are only 6 tables. Highly recommended

Such a cute place, only 6 tables. We were treated like friends when our group of 5 dined here. The owner brought us all a simple tasting of many appetizers then the main tajine and couscous... So flavorful!!! I'm new to Moroccan food and loved it. The best part was the mint tea at the end of the meal... Wish... More

During our two week holiday in Spain, we were fortunate to have our final meal in Malaga at Al-yamal having walked by it many times over the course of our stay. We wound up eating there based on all the glowing reviews, but even so, our meal and the atmosphere surpassed our expectations! The cous-cous was scrumptious and the peppermint... More

Easily the best food in Spain. Even my picky kids ate all the food. I'm glad we made it our choice on our last day in Malaga.

We really enjoyed sitting at this restaurant and feeling like we were in Morocco. Intimate and romantic, with lovely decoration and delicious food. Also, the traditional peppermint tea and pastas as desert were scrumptious. Highly recommended! Rosa & Denis

The finest marroccan restaurant in Malaga for many years already. The place is very cozy, beautifull decoration done by the owners, lovers of great moorish/arabian art. The food is just great, prepared by Juani with lots of dedication. We recommened this place to everybody who love marroccan food. We will be back very son to enjoy delicious food and great... More

The food here is good with more use of chilli than is typical of Moroccan food, but fortunately we like that. However the portions are very small but the bill is high and I have dropped the score from 4 to 3 because of the poor value for money.
