Very good menu del dia

Very good menu del dia at 10.50 euros which included a pasta starter, hake with vegetables as a main and a coconut flan to finish. Very friendly and quick service. Limited other options as the set menu of the day but what we choose was still very good quality and value for money.

We chose this restaurant for lunch because it was packed with locals. All of them seemed to know the owner who was coming out and greeting everyone. The prices are higher then the average but the food is quite good. We ate the tastiest paella here. The rice wasn't pre-boiled like in many paellas, it cooked in the oven directly.

we went to see the amazing xmas lights in Calle larios and then had supper in one of the many amazing restaurants in the old city. Starchan is well known as it has various tapas and also a choice of meals so catering for all appetites ! the food and service was excellent. I had the camembert cheese with raspberry... More

Having walked around Malaga looking for somewhere to eat came across this restaurant . Had possibly one of the best meals we have ever had . The quality of both the food and service was exceptional and it was not expensive would certainly recommend this restaurant and will revisit it when next in Malaga.

Two years ago we were taken to Strachan by friends whom we met unexpectedly one night in the city. We thought then that portions were small but we went back a year later anyway; small portions. We've just dined there for the last time. My wife chose Pollo al Curry, chicken curry with a small amount of rice. I chose... More

My wife and I had a lovely meal, starting with Sangria & tapas and then Paella, washed down with a lovely bottle of Verdejo. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful and really added to the lovely atmosphere. We ate outside on the terrace however the interior is really beautiful and would be an excellent setting for a lovely... More

Long lazy lunch. The food and service were impeccable.. The ambience relaxed and unhurried. We sat outside in the shade on a very warm day in September. There was a lovely cooling breeze. The staff could not have done more to ensure we were happy .. i can recommend their house red which is a Rioja. We had three courses... More

We stumbled across this place by chance one Sunday afternoon, and we were delighted. We recommend the Malaga salad, an unusual potato salad with bacalao (salt cod) and wedges of fresh orange. It may sund odd, but it works very well indeed. The fritura mixta, four types of fried sea food including pescaito, chipirones, cazon en adobo and calamares, at... More

Our hotel room at AC Hotel Malaga, Palacio had a free recipe book produced by this restaurant and the recipes were in Spanish and English with lots of nutritional information included. As the food sounded lovely and the restaurant was sooo close to the hotel we went. The food was up to expectation. Try the Avacado pudding.called Baticate.

The food was ok, the portions were relatively normal, but watch out for the hidden price of bread (1,5 euro per person)! We didnt agree with this, since we didn't order the bread and it wasn't fresh, so they gave us a new receipt and we didn't pay for it.
