An enjoyable place to dine with a good menu and decent wine list. Enjoyed some fish here: dorada cooked in a papouillette with vegetables. Really well presented, well cooked dish. Prices reasonable as far as Calle Strachan goes and the service very amicable. Would gladly return and recommend.

We came across Strachan on the first day we arrived Malaga, situated right in the heart of the Centro. The lobster paella was delicious, not the run of the mill paella offered to tourists in many restaurants. We also tried the seafood soup (highly recommended), artichoke salad and a tomato salad with ham. They do have a good selection of... More

Strachsn is in a nice part of Malaga but beware of the incessant pestering of street sellers and the odd beggars echo though although not persistent do become a pain by their frequency.

Good location central Malaga close to Cathedral and central area. Service very good and prompt. Extensive menu including selection of tapas. The mix of 4 tapas is good starter and choice. Range of fish dishes and was impressed by the loom de bacala. Overall value is good.

We ate two dinners at Strachan while visiting Malaga for 2 weeks. The first visit was spectacular and welcome since it was our first night. The vegetarian paella and chicken curry dishes were delicious and priced fairly. The tapas were unexciting and we wouldn't revisit those choices during our next visit. The wine list, while narrow, was affordable and worthy... More

First meal we ate on arriving in Malaga. Took the menu del dia at €9. It was quite exceptional. Particularly the fist course which was a wonderful bean and clam stew. The wine was really good quality for a house too. We went again in the evening. Chose a baby artichoke starter which was plenty between us and really delicious.... More

We visited Stachan in april. The service was bad and the food was average. Prices on drinks did not apper on the menu. It was expenicive and we had to pay covercharge. Hope Malaga can offer more than this.

Lucky location need a refresh in they expect the tourists come back after their first visit. I was twice, May 2013 and now April 2014. The menu is the same, MIx 4 Tapas remain one of their key strengths but is not enough . Trying to improve in the lack sirloin with entrecote but doesn't match with foie . Merluza... More

We called in here for an evening meal after a disappointing visit a couple of years ago when we had lunch (menu del dia) there. That last time was positively awful but they made up for it this visit. The salad was lovely and the pieces of cod we had very tasty. We didn't experiment too much because of our... More
