Enjoyed a very fine dinner at Stracahan during our stay in Malaga last week.Having read a considerable number of travel books and online reviews of Malaga's culinary scene, Strachan is always up there and in our experience rightly so.We were offered a table 'al fresco' as per our preference, however it is essential that diners appreciate the lovely interior which... We wandered around the alleys off the main shopping street and cam across this restaurant, my wife noticed they were offering a set lunch menu, but it was in Spanish. The waiter willingly translated it for us (they had no English versions of this menu) and we had a 3 course lunch of mixed salad, swordfish and pears in a... More

My wife and I dropped in to this establishment on a whim and was very glad that we did. The service was friendly and helpful especially as our limited English did not help. The various tapas that we had were excellent and we both agreed that the Calamares was the best dish. We had a bottle of the house wine... More

6 of us dined outside in a nice vibrant atmosphere. The fish and steaks dishes were excellent. Around €25 each for starters, mains, drinks. Well recommended, good service, quality, location.

We walked through Strachan street on our first night, as we had all ready eaten we decided to come back as the dishes we saw on the table looked amazing. Large portions, finely cooked food and a buzzing atmosphere. We arrived early and it was quiet but by the time we had eaten, the restaurant was mobbed inside & outside.... More

An enjoyable place to dine with a good menu and decent wine list. Enjoyed some fish here: dorada cooked in a papouillette with vegetables. Really well presented, well cooked dish. Prices reasonable as far as Calle Strachan goes and the service very amicable. Would gladly return and recommend.

We came across Strachan on the first day we arrived Malaga, situated right in the heart of the Centro. The lobster paella was delicious, not the run of the mill paella offered to tourists in many restaurants. We also tried the seafood soup (highly recommended), artichoke salad and a tomato salad with ham. They do have a good selection of... More

Strachsn is in a nice part of Malaga but beware of the incessant pestering of street sellers and the odd beggars echo though although not persistent do become a pain by their frequency.
