Great plates of meat, cooked to order

. It's a deep-pink-painted house in the blue-potted Calle Caridad, parallel to the seafront but in the Old Town. A wooden statue of the Granny in the name - la Abuela - greets you as you come in. They cook the food to order from scratch, none of the "half-cooked in microwave then slapped on... read more

I went to this lovely venue to celebrate my dad's birthday. We ordered a salad as a starter which was massive and plenty of ingredients. The mains were absolutely delicouses. You can tell that it is a high quality meet straigh away. The service was great and the environment was relaxed and quiet. Is the perfect place to have a... More

Argentinian meats, wood-fired roasted the same way in 1983 as 2014, this is a gem in the pretty town of Estepona.

This "Argentinian" restaurant was fantastic 10 or 12 years ago. It was even necessary to reserve tables. Not now though. Over the years it has become less popular but stayed true to its identity. My wife and I have eaten there regularly but last night it became evident that it is now far from an Argentinian restaurant. There were no... More

Went here for dinner and found the place empty that should have been a warning. There was no atmosphere at all and the staff were not very welcoming giving us the impression that we were an inconvenience. The menu appeared to be good but our selection of a fillet steak and a mixed grill proved to be mediocre. Portion size... More

. Meat, meat and meat. And various types of sausage. And more meat. And baked potatoes. That about sums up Granny's House - La Casa de mi Abuela in la calle Caridad - one of the pedestrian streets in Estepona. The poor waiter is worked off his feet, but does his best. Including advising you that the Two-to-share mixed grill... More

This is one of my favourite restaurants to visit. Family run fantastic service and steaks are delicious . Well worth a visit you will not be disappointed. Make sure you are hungry as portions are generous.

This review is very simple to write, I have eaten steak in many of the worlds resorts, and from ordering to paying Casa de mi Abuelas was just superb. The meat was without a doubt the best T Bone I have ever eaten the side dishes were ample and delicious, the wine list was vast and the waiter was there... More

It was November mid week when we had dinner here. There was a handful of other tables and therefore the atmosphere was non existant but we were previously told that it's worth it to eat there. We gave it a go! We ordered the mixed grill for two, when it arrived we were excited to see a great selection of... More

Have been going to this restaurant on and off for 30 years and never found it lacking, quite the reverse, a pleasant night out with tasty food. Being a true carnivore who knows, the meat is of very good quality and cooked to "rare" poco hecho for me, which appears to be difficult for some chefs to achieve, or to... More
