Food is still good but service, when they are busy, is worse. The old crew behind the bar is gone and it's a bunch of youngish bouncing everywhere. If you are not AT the bar, they don't care about you. I miss the old days....Still a great place with great tapas.More

Fantastic little restaurant with delicious traditional tapas at traditional (low) prices. Tapas can only be eaten inside at the bar but this just added to the Spanish experience.

We went here based on the recommendation of a local. Once we arrived it was immediately clear that this restaurant provides food to those that know the city. While many of the surrounding restaurants had open tables, this restaurant was full and we had to...wait…..it was worth it. Great service, great tapas, great prices. Unfortunately the restaurant does not take reservations, so you just have to go there and hope for the best. We recommend that if you have to wait, go inside, grab a place at the bar and start drinking a local Sherry or ‘vino de verano’.More

El Beti is a great spot in downtown Puerto for tapas/drinks. Service is good, and the food is fantastic.

We love to call into Er Beti when we are in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The tapas is very tasty and they have a great range of stews which come with chips. There is a covered outside area and the staff are friendly and...speak a little English.More

We’ve been many times. Love going back. Tapas only at the bar , very friendly staff and good value. It gets very busy in summer months. You can sit outside but not tapas outside, same food just more of it ( raciones) .

Recommendation from hotel - which again threw into doubt the quality of such recommendations. Very ordinary bar new the river. Portions could be ordered in full size, half size or tapas. TomAte and tuna salad - OK. Corazón adobe - was it bought in frozen??...Meat balls were enjoyed by the daughter. But overall feeling was a lack of care - all summed up when we asked for coffee. They said we should go to one of the other nearby restaurants - it was clear whether that was because they had no coffee, or because they were shutting up as past 4.00pm and didn’t want to make any.More

Great 'raciones' aka dishes slightly bigger than a tapa and friendly service although a little slow on bringing out the bill. Don't hesitate in coming here for a bit food and a drink. Prices very reasonable for the quality of the food.

This is a lovely place for tapas and they specialise in stews. It gets really busy inside but they have a nice covered outside area which is great on colder days. Food is really good and reasonably priced.

Great little place to watch the world go by. Seats on the street gave us a grand view of the well-dressed locals making their way - via a wine or two - to a wedding. People watching perfection. And the service was good too.
