Good tapas but service was very poor and spoilt the evening :-(

I have read other reviews and agree that the tapas was good this evening. However, for me, I found the waiters very unfriendly (even though I speak Spanish), the service was extremely slow (and it was a very quiet evening, with plenty of staff not doing anything)! So all in all I personally won't... read more

Amazing food with a great atmosphere and full of locals as usual. Bargain. Strongly recommend eating here at least once

A fantastic restaurant and taperia in the heart of the old town of Cadiz. The food is great value, fresh and fast service with an authentic atmosphere to match. Drinks are very reasonable also. They also have the best olives in Spain! Be sure to try the diablios (dates and bacon), the secreto iberico carbonara and the mixed bereneja pista... More

This is one of our favourite bar restaurants in the old city in Cadiz. Every time we return we book our first meal here. We love the bar and restaurant staff since we've been coming for over 14 years! The traditional decor has Iberian Jamon legs hanging from the ceiling, a large bar with a few tables and the restaurant... More

This bar was recommended by our guide book and didn't disappoint. We sat at the bar and had excellent ham and anchovies. The white wine which I had was delicious. My husband had a very good manzanilla. There was a great atmosphere. Service was good.

This place gets great reviews and largely deserves them. When I first went nine years ago it was THE place to go. Now it's still worth it but has serious competition. Go when it's busy and stay in the front bar area. Also just eat meat. A few days ago I ordered a tortilla and it was literally the worst... More

This well-appointed tapas bar and restaurant close to Mina Plaza is flooded to capacity with animated locals at peak times and recommended by our local contacts. We had a meal in the formal restaurant which was wonderful but looks like the tapas is the real scene here. Great wine selections. Near the waterfront Alameda Apodeca park - great place to... More

Any review would not do this place justice! Don Manolo and his staff know how to look after you! The platters of meat are excellent and the place is spotless! 10 out of 10! Saludos Don Manolo desde Cardiff!

This restaurant is very close to Cadiz museum. It has a huge tapas bar but you can also sit for a lunch or dinner there. The food is great but the chairs are extremly uncomfortable. There is a very few choice for the vegetarians but those who love meat will really enjoy this traditional place. Yes, it is old and... More

The best place for some plates in Cadiz, great atmosphere. Not cheap, but very fair prices. Locals and tourists come and go, it's very busy, a must in Cadiz. Service is very good, food is made with much love and with quality products. They have tables inside, you can sit at the bar where you can get tapas or small... More
