I had heard that you need to try the fried fish when in Cadiz, so I did. There is defiantly an art to eating it so you don't get a mouthful of bones. You need to filet each small piece to remove the bones. My husband had the pork medallions which were good. Wine was great and so were the... read more

Partly this was our fault for going out too early (by Spanish standards) to eat. Rather than eating in the restaurant area our best option would have been to sit near the bar and have tapas. Wasn't that keen on the lighting though. The service was good (well, the restaurant area was not busy!) and we had a well placed... More

Everyone recommended this place we found it just average, maybe we went for dinner not for lunch. The food was good but a bit overpriced and not as great as we expected. Try better going there for lunch and then you can try there tapas that people recommend.

Yes, the food, the experience, the service, everything was exceptional!!!! Honestly, we didn't know where to dine out this evening. The concierge of our hotel recommended this restaurant. It was simply excellent!!!! The service, exceptional... Our waitress even suggested to order only half a portion of one of our appetizers because she thought that it may be too much food... More

We've been here a few times and keep coming back. On our most recent visit, the food was particularly good. With modern decor and modern cuisine combine with traditional value and decent portions. The fish and seafood dishes are especially good - including a range of tuna dishes.

One of my favourite restaurants in Cadiz, the Balandro serves a great variety of delicious salads, fish, seafood and meat dishes, all at very reasonable prices. The service is generally very good and there is a nice atmosphere too, as the big windows do allow for views of the bay, if you sit in the right place. I would recommend... More

Come hungry. Even the tapas are meals in themselves. Good Spanish food (Americans bring your own hot sauce haha) and a very contemporary atmosphere- a great change from all the "old world" feel of the rest of Cadiz. Come for a date or just with friends for tapas. Either way make sure to order the Spanish wine!

We came here as the place was suggested by the people from the hotel we stayed. Many people and lots of locals which is normally a good sign. They have a menu which is a mix of traditional dishes and more sophisticated options, but overall a good choice. We had albondigas de mariscos (like small fishcakes), corvina in green sauce... More
