Great seafood with plenty of atmosphere

Smart but not stuffy restaurant and bar close to plaza San Antonio with lively decorations . Great choice of fish and seafood all at reasonable prices. Fried anchovies were top quality and John Dory & Bream were well cooked although with a few too many vegetables for such good fish. Wine was... read more

The two star rating is by way of being generous. We ate there this week (9th February) and if we had known where else to eat, we would have done so. We were aghast at the prices, which are totally out of line for what you receive. The quality of food served is very poor, below average. We wanted to... More

Terrific seafood with Cadiz Bay view; we enjoyed it so much we returned for 2 lunches! Innovative preparations of 'almejas' (clams), 'rape' (monk-fish), & 'tortilla de camarones' (lacy shrimp delight...unbelievably tasty!). Our waiter cheerfully helped steer us toward menu specialties (Merci, Molod!). Highly recommend!

We visited twice, during our Cadiz stay. We sat at the bar, had very good service, great local wines--and delicious soups, fish, and other tapas. Very good value in a delightful sea-view setting.

As a disclaimer, we went to this restaurant around 4pm on a Monday. Our food was microwave heated and blend. Nothing special. I couldn't understand the high ratings this place got at foursquare...

Fills up within 20 minutes after church services are over on Sunday. May need a reservation for a table with full menu, but bar with tapas is first-come only and fills up very quickly after restaurant opens. Tapas menu is extensive with wonderful selection of meat, fish, egg, vegetable dishes.

A slow night in November, and we eat earlier than the locals, so there was not much of a crowd. Service was efficient, though not particularly friendly. Food was really excellent seafood......I can still taste the little fried anchovies.......hot and crunchy and slightly salty. Oh my I want to go back.

We as a family, with small children and sat at one of the tables. The bar was buzzing which gave the whole restaurant a great atmosphere. The view out of the picture windows certainly adds to atmosphere. The service was efficient and correct, but not particularly friendly - no smiles. The menu had nothing unusual on it, very similar to... More

Wished we hadn't stayed as within 30 mins the bar area for tapas was full and our meal turned out to be a plate full of duck that looked and tasted like lamb chops with the no vegetables so very disappointed. My husband had the cod with tomato and basil sauce and no different to any of the run of... More

The other diner below must have been unlucky because our waiter made up a table for us on the spot when we arrived without reservation in a bustling restaurant at 10 o clock. We went for a fish and were delighted with the quality.
