Okay Food and Service

I am sure there are many better restaurants in Cadiz to choose. We stopped here for lunch and ordered way too much food. There were two of us and we ordered the Manchego Cheese plate, Iberian ham, garlic shrimp and 1/2 chicken with fries. The chicken was really very good. The shrimp just... read more

I ordered a piece of chocolate cake with my coffee in the afternoon. The chocolate cake was just off, awful so I sent it back and this gay was so rude arguing with me that the cake was fresh from the morning. Well the cake tasted off, was too old and if a customer is telling you that is not... More

...and this is "crujientes de queso", crunchy cheese sticks with leek that blew my mind. And if you speak Spanish - which always helps with getting a good customer experience in Spain - have the waiter explain you the process of making these sticks which is quite ornate and extravagant. The waiters may seem grumpy, but they are maybe just... More

Sorry, but this place cannot be recommended at all. Came here for lunch. One salad (goat cheese and walnut) was okay, the other one (chicken) was just tasteless. What struck us most was the unfriendly staff. They didn't seem to care at all about their customers and just made us feel not welcome. Never would I set foot inside this... More

In the center of the city; nice place to look at people (seem to be popular amongst locals, too). The two gentlemen, who were serving, were utterly uninterested in their jobs or customeres, and the food was just average.

Found this cafe while walking the streets of Cadiz not far from the cathedral. We enjoyed a shrimp linguini, salad with goat cheese and walnuts and an excellent appetizer of fried eggplant with a balsamic reduction sauce. We also tasted some red wine. Reminder: the bread placed on your table is not free. Reject it if you are not interested.

We went there for dinner during our X-mas holiday. The quality of the food was average. However, compared to other restaurants during our holiday in Andalucia, I might say not good. Service is ok, although not friendly. But the prize-quality of the restaurant is far below average. They even dare to charge € 1.50 for bread and picas (other restaurants... More

Round the corner of the apartment, that we rented in Cadiz, in the very center there is one of the best restaurants. It is very simple decorated, but the meal, that they give is very quality and delicious. They also serve breakfasts, and we liked them very much. The service is very good and friendly.
