So nice we had to return a few days later.

In Cordoba we were introduced to a local dish Salmorejo, a thick gazpacho like dish served with chopped ham & egg. This became our starter for most meals on our visit, on our first visit my wife had chicken tagine, served in a tagine. I chose the fillet steak with Pedro Ximenez sauce. This was... read more

Not sure if the chef was on holiday or sick but not having checked TA for restaurant advice our party of 4 chose this place because of the look and atmosphere created by the live guitar music, there were many customers on the previous night so we had high expectations. On arrival we were shown to our table and although... More

Ate in here twice, the chicken tajin was so good, I had to go back again for the lamb! My husband said the his chicken kebabs were also amazing. Live guitar playing in the restaurant and a bit of impromptu flamenco dancing from our customer on the second visit. Friendly, efficient staff

Visited twice and tried tapas and full courses. Both were superb. The food was extremely well cooked, flavoursome and distinctive and the wine excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming too.

Stumbled across it looking for another restaurant that didn't exist. Given location across from mosque thought it would be a tourist trap, but it was delicious - both the Moroccan & Spanish food. So good that we went there twice. Very sweet waiter accommodating picky kids.

We were stumbling around Cordoba famished and decided to eat at the first place we came to. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice decor and atmosphere. It was very clean and seemed new. The atmosphere was romantic and pleasant. The wait staff immediately helped us find a table and they were helpful throughout our visit. We ended up sharing our... More

Spotted the place when walking round the Mesquite. It is located toward the river end of the square. Had a lunch and returned for dinner. In addition to the spanish dishes there were several Morocan Tagines,Kebabs, etc, some of which we tried. Generous portions particularly the "1/2 Ration" as a starter and the "Ration" as a main course. Really enjoyed... More

This restaurant is situated very close to the Mezquita, almost in the same square surrounding it. Food here is a mix of "Moorish" and Spanish cuisine, and was delicious as was it affordable. Highlights were definitely the kebabs and braised oxtail (oh la la!) which we wiped off clean. Great service as well. Highly recommended if you only got one... More

Would like to give 4 stars, based on the wine and the tapas. Excellent service and fair prices at a great location. But the front door was left open to lure people inside and the heating from the ceiling was just not enough. Such a pity!

During our short stay in Cordoba, we found this our favorite place to eat. Great food, olives, prices, people watching. My husband is only sorry he didn't try the tagine as we never found it on another menu.
