This restaurant is situated very close to the Mezquita, almost in the same square surrounding it. Food here is a mix of "Moorish" and Spanish cuisine, and was delicious as was it affordable. Highlights were definitely the kebabs and braised oxtail (oh la la!) which we wiped off clean. Great service as well. Highly recommended if you only got one... More

Would like to give 4 stars, based on the wine and the tapas. Excellent service and fair prices at a great location. But the front door was left open to lure people inside and the heating from the ceiling was just not enough. Such a pity!

During our short stay in Cordoba, we found this our favorite place to eat. Great food, olives, prices, people watching. My husband is only sorry he didn't try the tagine as we never found it on another menu.

Reasonable prices, good tapas and a great view of the Mezquita. A fascinating spot to watch the people going by.

Close between the Mesquita and river, Corregidor Luis de la Cerda 73. There is a good value three course menu with a glass or wine or beer but we rambled through the menu and were amazed at how good the tangines were. This is more local dining than gourmet dining but the food is very good and the prices are... More

Right next to the Grand Mosque. Insides not particularly attractive. Servie average, food the same. The Gazpacho was below average, the Salmorejo good, the Entrecote de la Pedro Ximenez, the meat was poor but the sauce good. Price as fair.

Nice selection. We went for a tagine as we wanted to sample the moorish influence to local food. Staff were great. Food delicious. Wine by the glass an option.

Restaurante Las Piconeras is located in a small street at the back of the Mezquita (Corregidor Luis de la Cerda, 73). It's a nice plac, friendly staff and good food. Nothing special!

Such quality and tasty food. Really nice polite staff. Offers halal menu! (You can take the Moora out of Cordoba...) Great prices. Very clean inside and out. Directly outside the Cordoba Mosque (turned Cathedral) which is the main site in the city.

We skipped breakfast and had to go for lunch - not so easy, as lots of places only open for dinner. Las Piconeras was on our list and happily we went there for tapas. Having seen many reviews, of course our expectations were very high - and we were not disappointed! Patatas alioli, boquerones, and too many other tapas were... More
