Fascinating local cuisine

Chose the Meal of the day, at lunchtime, great range of food unusual to us, but typical to Cordoba, according to Paco, great recommendation, thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the oasis ambience

This restaurant is a little tricky to find, but worth the effort. A nice change from the standard tapas in Spain. Food was fresh and wonderfully prepared. Paco and Pepe were excellent hosts!

After visiting the Alcazar we stumbled across this little gem ..initially wanted a beer and wine but the barman that we met, Paco, introduced us to some great local food and wines and was a perfect host and this is well worth a visit.

Great Resturant Hidden up a little alley, so the have to trade on reputation as opposed to position. Waiter was very friendly, knew his food and could speak good English. Food was simple and very well presented and prepared. Highly recommended. Coffee good as well.

We had two salads, tomato & tuna and a cod & orange salad with rocket. Fresh, tasty food on a really hot day! Quiet little restaurant tucked down a side street where we could sit outside away from the hustle & bustle

I don't mind blowing my own trumpet by saying I've been to a few nice restaurants. Got a few stars under my belt. But I have to say that this place was truly "ricissima" which is Spanish for delicious. And right across from our fab hotel as well. Cordoba is impressing.

We were walking randomly in the small streets of Cordoba and found La Fragua completely by accident. This street corner is the perfect quiet place to prove Andalucian food! Paco (our waiter) was very nice and made the perfect food suggestions for our taste. The salmorejo is sooooo good! ... And the deserts divine!! A must go place for dinner.

All the food was great & service was fantastic. We went here for lunch. The waiter was really friendly, helpful, can speak English & he knew what the food was about since we asked what was in the dishes. The restaurant has good ambience & romantic atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

It was the best restaurant we found in Córdoba. The quality of the food was fantastic. The service was very friendly and professional. We always felt like at home. The owner is always there, supervising the food and service!! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

The restaurant was near our hotel...we had looked at others and then checked them on Tripadvisor and this restaurant ticked all our boxes. It felt 'family run' had lots of atmosphere and friendly service. Thee food was delicious and I can thoroughly recommend the Salmejo (a speciality chilled soup from Cordoba), the Bulls tail stew and the 'creme brulee trio'.... More
