Cold place but lovely food

Yesterday night we went to this hidden restaurant recommended by a local. Food was lovely and good value for money but it was really cold. Finally they turned on the heating system and it was nicer.

It was the best restaurant we found in Córdoba. The quality of the food was fantastic. The service was very friendly and professional. We always felt like at home. The owner is always there, supervising the food and service!! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

The restaurant was near our hotel...we had looked at others and then checked them on Tripadvisor and this restaurant ticked all our boxes. It felt 'family run' had lots of atmosphere and friendly service. Thee food was delicious and I can thoroughly recommend the Salmejo (a speciality chilled soup from Cordoba), the Bulls tail stew and the 'creme brulee trio'.... More

If you visit Cordoba and are looking for somewhere to have a great food experience this is it. Up the top of a small alley-way you could walk past it, but the flowers made it look inviting, we were hungry, so decided to give it a try. All I can say is that it was one of the best meals,... More

We looked into an alley and found this great restaurant...I had a rice dish reminiscent of risotto...the wine was a good compliment to the meal...and the waiter was very competent...we were sitting under a gauzy overhang which added a charm to the place...

until reading about it after the fact. First night in Cordoba, and we were trying to find a charming restaurant with a reasonable set menu that was serving dinner at the "early" hour of 8:45. We were beginning to feel hopeless until we noticed a sign for La Fragua at the entrance to a little alley. Along with an extensive... More

Our host recommended this charming restaurant to us. The food was simple, non-pretentious Cordobes food and was probably the best we've had on our second week here in Spain. The servers were very genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive. Great find, definitely one of the best in the Juderia.

We came here for lunch during a 2-day visit to Cordoba. The restaurant, at the end of a short whitewashed lane, was very atmospheric inside and the staff warm, welcoming and attentive. We weren't extremely hungry and had a mixture of traditional dishes between us. All in all this was an excellent choice for us. Don't know what dinner would... More

We drank here a couple of times and found the staff friendly and attentive. As it was directly facing our hotel it was the easy option for eating on our last night in Cordoba. The food was better than average although the service wasn't great (different - and indifferent - member of staff).

I was there with a group of eight. There was only one other couple there at the time. Yet, the waiter was very inattentive. We asked three times for water, three times for spoons and also asked for the add ins for the gazpacho. The food was good and the waiter was pleasant when he was around. The place had... More
