Hole in the wall!

Was told by a co-worker to not leave Cordoba without visiting Bar Santos and trying their tortilla de patatas and a beer. The tortilla I got was just coming out and still hot. It was the most delicious one I have had in my 2 years in Spain! Price for a slice with a beer was something ridiculous... read more

Amazing tortilla, it is worth a visit, right next to the Great Cathedral and Mosque! Grab a slice and sit on the Mesquita steps to enjoy it. One will be enough just as snack to walk around the historic centre. Highly recommended!

The tortilla here was huge and came with 2 far bread sticks. Although I'm one of those who prefer the egg undercooked, I really enjoyed the tortilla here. The waiter wasn't very friendly but did the job. I was there around 17:00 and there was only another person in there.

Apparently famous for its massive tortillas (see picture! Apart from that, it's a tiny, typically spanish, bar. No outside space apart from the street and the mezquita steps over the road. Opened in 1966 (I think) and never updated. Worth visiting for that aspect alone with all the old pictures and newspaper cuttings around the walls

Tiny bar, famous for its tortilla. Order drinks and tapas at bar and sit outside on steps of Mezquita. Always crowded (as are steps), but barman always copes, and the mixed crowd on the steps are always good-humoured; have never, in many many visits, seen any problems!

we stopped quickly at the taberna santos for a beer, after some time exploring the Mezquita. The place is very small, in fact only has a bar counter. A lot of people were standing outside. We bought 2 small beers for only EUR3! On such a hot day, it was nice to stop for a cold beer.

My guide book said this was the place to eat near the Mezquita. So I went and there were only Spaniards in line so that made me feel good about my choice. The line was chaotic at best and the management needed to control it a bit more. The people behind me tried to cut in front of me but... More

Wow I have made a few million tortillas and eaten as many and this is my ultimate tortilla. So tasty you can't explain, the most amazing thing is the size of the tortilla. It is thick like a cake - unbelievable. This is a majorly busy tapas bar it has people spilling out its doors and sitting on the walls... More

I'm not a big fan of Spanish tortilla but I have to say this one is exquisite. The size of it may surprise you but it's taste will blow your mind.

Read about this place on blog. I was really curious about this tortillas. I figured this is a perfect place to snack and regenerate after visiting La Mezquita. Tortilla was beter than I expected. Really tasty, perfect with beer. Definitly worth to visit and taste it.
