Located adjacent to the Mezquita and Alcazar de Los Reyes Cristianos, the location may suggest an over-priced, poor quality restaurant. This is neither. The tapas menu del dia was keenly priced at 13 euro per head, including a drink and the portions were generous. The various dishes were delicious and I was disappointed not to be able to finish all... More

Friendly staff. Interior a bit stark and place lacked atmosphere. Iberico ham hard. Good oxtail. Pork rice tasted like dried up Vesta packet curry from 1970's. Good wine. Won't be back

We went to this Mezquita (there are two in Cordoba) on the basis of the reviews over the last few months, but we were disappointed and were puzzled as our experience just didnt seem to match the earlier reviews. The staff were good and welcoming, but the place lacked atmosphere - it wasnt that busy even though it was around... More

We visited this restaurant August 8 this year and what a fun experience. The food was very good and inexpensive. We were most impressed with the service and the waiter Javier was most entertaining! Thank you!

One of our absolute favourites in Andalucia. Following advice from our guide book, we found the restaurant, just off the main square. The food was insanely good, really inexpensive and the staff were super friendly too. There was a buzzing atmosphere throughout, and when we were the last to leave at about midnight they were still full of beans. Highly... More

After visiting la mezquita we stopped in for a glass of wine and some tapas. Our waiter Javi was extremely helpful in picking both wine and tapas to share. I've realized since being in Andalucia that Rioja is not the only region that knows how to make awesome red wine. I really enjoyed the Cordoba Cabernet variety and the eggplant... More

We might have chosen the wrong dishes but we found the food rather average on the whole. Service was a bit sluggish too.

We ate at the other Bodegas Mezquita on our first night and here on our third. It was 42 deg C during the day so air con was a must. The service and food was excellent and so was the Los Omeya Roble wine.

The quality of the food here was fantastic, the menu del dia is excellent and despite the fact that it is in the most touristy and busy part of town the food and service was excellent.
