This restaurant seems a bit out of the way from the main attractions of Cordoba but it's only a 10 mins detour if coming from the train station. The waiter couldn't speak English but we managed to communicate (there are English menus). The waiter was very friendly and told us about the specials of the restaurant. Very prompt service &... Completely non touristy and down a little side street in a residential part of the city, twenty minutes walk from the Juderia. Excellent food and cracking local and national wines. Very friendly owner and staff. If no Spanish then come with a phrase book but all adds to the experience!

This is a terrific restaurant that is off the beaten path. Well worth the effort to get there. The owner speaks no english but makes ever effort to make you feel special. Manu available in english. If you go before 10pm it will be empty and the restaurant is in the back so you have to walk through the bar... More

Casual rustic restaurant behind tapas bar. Had cod crude, yummy fried eggplant with " back honey",fried spider fish and tender oxtails. Owner/waiter was very amiable, gave us dessert and Pedro Ximenez dessert wine.

We went there because of the Trip Advisor recommendations. It lived up to its reputation. Manolo was welcoming, helpful and very generous. The menu as most of the typical Cordovan dishes. It is off the tourist track and therefore not crowded and reasonably priced.

This is a little taberna tucked away in Cordoba but not in the main tourist area. It is in a little side street around the plaza del sol and you might need to consult your map! It is fourth generation owned and Manolo is one of the most welcoming hosts that you can get, although he doesnt speak English he... More

Away from the tourist area, Taberna San Cristobal is a family run tapas bar/restaurant. We received a very warm welcome, ate delicious authentic dishes (snails, roasted red peppers with tuna and a platter of delicious fish) and to finish, complimentary home made cookies with sherry. Outstanding service, would definitely return to this authentic Andalucian place.

It´s not near the Mezquita, it hasn´t got a patio with flowerpots, you won´t hear a guitar, and the photos of toreros on the walls are there because the clients are truly aficionados. That´s how true this place is and so is the food. Excellent andalusian cookery with the kindest waiter in Spain - Manolo. Don´t miss it. Worth the... More

For me, this is the best taberna in the city, the place where you can try Cordoba's traditional food in its purest form. It's only serious rival for range and quality is the Mesón Juan Peña. It's not easy to decide which of the two is better, but in the end I think I would have to come down in... More

A very good restaurant for authentic high quality Spanish food in Córdoba. Well known among locals and recommended by them too. What makes the food so surprisingly good is its simplicity. The ingredients are of very good quality, you can immediately taste that. The dish me and my family recommend especially is "pez araña" fried or grilled. Both really great!... More
