Local place. Not bad.

Was recommended this place by a Spanish friend. Decor is pretty quaint, though a little difficult to find. Tried the atun la plancha. It came out a little more raw than I was comfortable with, so they kindly took it back for a little more time in the pan. Seemed like a popular place for locals.

Traditional taberna with excellent local food at reasonable prices. Wide assortment of wines. Excellent location in the city center between the townhall and "Plaza de la Corredera". You can book a salon to enjoy your own experience. It also organizes food events and courses (sushi, food for kids, wine tasting, tapas contest...) although I have not personally attended as I... Given the food, it seemed a bit too expensive. The solomillo al PX was quite good, so were the croquetas de cola de toro. Though given the prices we found it cordoba, it seemed in line.

Not necessarily for English tastes. Obviously a venue for locals. I ordered Calamares and I got little squids on a plate, not neat, breadcrumbed rings. That was fine for me, I am Spanish. Again, the scrambled eggs with prawns and spinach were as I expected, fried in oil and very good, as were the chips, nice and soggy as my... More

The food here was exactly like almost every other restaurant in Cordoba. Basic, fried and lacking a little bit of imagination. Try it if you are interested in a cheap local experience, but don't expect anything out of this world.

This place has a lot of locals dropping by, but this might be a place that you might want to experiment. In all honesty, I believe the food was alright but nothing out of the extraordinary. This place was recommended for authentic Spanish Cordoba cuisine, but after trying a few specials, this definitely isn't my cup of tea. :) A... More

We have eaten twice here in the last couple of months. Both meals were at lunchtime. We really enjoyed it both times. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. The wine list is really good as well. There were plenty of locals there both times which is always a good sign. The set up is traditional with a bar... More

So many much nicer places around Cordoba, this is not really worth a visit if you are only there for a couple of days in my opinion. It was packed, the service was not perfect and the food not that great ...

This good restaurant is not for the pampered tourist. I do not mean that all customers are not warmly embraced and they do have a copy of the menu in English - it is that this is the real deal. A local restaurant catering for local customers and if you eat here you will enjoy a real taste of Spain,... More
