In Cordoba, around the mosque, one finds many overpriced establishments. It is well worth the few steps to walk to Taberna Salinas. The prices are very reasonable, around 7 Euros for a rather small dish, three dishes are fine for sharing between two hungry persons. On both our visits we ordered two dishes of our liking and asked the waiter... More

Just had tapas dinner here. Tapas were tasty and reasonably priced. Lovely wine. Fantastic cheesecake. Would go again!

A lovely restaurant a little off the beaten track but worth searching out. We had gazpacho, mixed salad, marinated kingklip in breadcrumbs and slow cooked pork topped off with a very good bottle of house white. Food all beautifully cooked well presented and good sized portions at a very reasonable price. Service also excellent. Highly recommended

We just returned from a lovely dinner at Casa Salinas. We were looking for a different tapas restaurant but literally ran into this one...and we are very glad that we did. Although the restaurant's menu was in several languages , the restaurant seemed filled with Spanish speakers. The restaurant has several small cozy dining rooms. The waiter suggested that we... More

Went here as it looked so busy, the staff on the door were friendly and the decor looks very Spanish and authentic. However, the waiters were slightly pushy when getting us to order food, trying to get us to order more food than necessary. In fact the waiter was trying to tell us that we should eat the salmorejo not... More

You only need two tapas each to feel very full. Try 3 different ones per couple. Excellent value for money, many Spaniards go there. Service is simply the best, if you are lucky they may give you free little drinks of local sweet wine 'vino de pasas'.

We had some amazing tapas such as ox tail and cod with orange. There's a pretty patio inside. The service was good and it didn't seem turistic. Loved the place.

If you go for tall dark and handsome, stop by for a bite. You wont be disappointed. We had a great meal, and found one dish that we have made twice since being home. There is also a nice bar that opens to the street, so if you have time to kill, it is a nice spot to hang out... More

This restaurant specializing in tapas is unpretentious and its low prices seem to appeal mostly to tourists on a budget. It was surprising how tasty the tapas were given the low prices charged for them. All in all, a very pleasant surprise.
