Went with friends - their second time - and it was delightful. Cozy interior, intriguing menu - some new dishes, and some traditional - great wine list - friendly, helpful server - could have stayed there for hours, in fact I think we did!

We stumbled across the place on our way back to the hotel after the theater and decided to have a nightcap there. The atmosphere is just amazing, a bit nostalgic without being tacky or pretentious. There was some soft music but at level that made conversation very easy. We ended up staying for a couple of hours (- and a...

After all the cultural work, you need a quiet glass of wine and some late snacks : here you have all and more , even on an old-fashioned sofa. Young staff, intellectual-looking public ( not just the eager retiree-tourist, but also good locals...)
My work group had dinner here after getting a late tour of Weimar. Amazing town with some great history, but that's another review. Anyway, this is such a cool little restaurant! Very nice atmosphere - non-pretentious, just a place to relax and enjoy a great beer and wonderful meal. I had the ostrich steak - excellent. My soup, avocado-lime as...

Ran into this little cafe, attracted by its quaint exterior and charming outlook. But food was average. NIce place to rest one's feet though.
i was wandering around and just walked into the place asking for the table. This place seems to be booked most nites as reservations are recommended. The waitress was able to accomodate me and slide me in.
I ordered the parmesan soup which ive never tried. It was quite good, to a point where it wanted to lick the bowl...

We chose this restaurant as something different from traditional Thuringian restaurants with their emphasis on Bratwurst and Kloss. We asked for a table and the waiter (Head Waiter, I think) smiled and said that they were booked out and that we really needed to reserve a table at least a week in advance. We asked if we could return later...

They do have a menu in English and food is quite good. Depending on the time of year and the time of day you may want to dine,...

Great food but limited menu. While my picky husband had a problem finding something he thought he would like to eat, he was very happy with the food. Great service.
Courteous, correct service, beautifully cooked dishes served very elegantly, and prices very reasonable. Best of all is the shabby chic decor - perfect!
