Flammkuchen is one of our favorite dishes. We are beginning to find very good ones farther east of the Rhine. Good and original french ´bistro´. The service is extremely nice, the flamkuchens are great and the location is perfect. The variety is mostly limited to some salads and french flamkuchens, but why more when they are great? I will go back again...

Chez Laurent is a french restaurant in the heart of the historical center of Erfurt. The flammkuchen (tarte flambée) is delicious! There is also a bread cooked in wine that is worth to try. Not forgetting the wonderful chocolate mousse as dessert... It's a pleasant place to have a meal. obs: credit/debit cards were not accepted when I was there... More
