I always go there when I m around Leipzig and never got disapppointed. Soups are amazing and fresh, burgers are so tasty you don't want them to be over. Chips great and raw cut. Onion rings were HUGE and freshly made. I always ask for a fruit smooth and my fav is cocumber, kiwi and basil. Don't miss Zest and... More

This place is out of this world! The food is amazing, the flavors in the dish mix in such an harmonious way, almost hard to describe.. You REALLY have to try it! Great place also if you are with a meat lover because they will also love it, true story... ;) I had never tasted such a great vegan meal... More

The food AMAZING, cocktails DELICOUS... you certainly will need a while to go through the menu which was surprisingly long. The Food presentation was beautiful set up. There were quite a few ingredients that were new to me but it made the dining more adventurous. If I was just about to review the food/drinks I certainly would have given it... More

Not being a vegetarian, this is one of the few v places I could thoroughly enjoy ! Went with two friends, and tasted everything we chose - each dish was simply excellent ! Both my companions (one of then vegetarian) had the same opinion. Tasty dishes, kind service. Thank you, will return when next time in Leipzig !

My girlfriend and I ate at "Zest" on Saturday night....neither of us are what you would call staunch vegans, but we try and eat food with little or no animal products most of the time. The menu at Zest was quite incredible! - I am so impressed with what they are able to do with the ingredients they have. We... More

I am probably going again for the brunch tomorrow! The interior of the place is minimal and nice. The food and wine we had were excellent.

We went based on the reviews. It's a trek out from town and the staff are super cool and a bit snooty. Food is nice and its great for veggies as everything is veggie and the menu changes every month depending on the veg available. We had parsnip soup (which was delicious) Risotto balls which were very nicely presented but... More

We had an amazing New Year's Eve dinner at Zest, comprising 8 courses! There was one sitting which commenced at 1830 with a cocktail with an amuse buche. Course 1: Sanddornsuppe (Sea Buckthorn Soup); Course 2: Anchochillies im Polentamantel, gefullt mit Koriander-Knoblauchkrem und mango Thaichilli coulis (Ancho Chillies coated in polenta and stuffed with coriander and garlic cream with a... My wife and I took our son and his wife to this small vegetarian/vegan restaurant in South Leipzig. The menu is in English as well as German, and changes seasonally. The burgers were amazing - you have to choose 5 times from a range of fillings - and my wife was ecstatic about her 'meze' - a wonderful selection of... More
