Quite nice. Upstairs. A little of the beaten track.

Ok. They hadn't finished the roasted venison when we arrived, and although they advertised a winter chestnut soup, they didn't have it. The service was a little slow. But it's a quiet, low key place that was in the end, more than adequate. Interesting Saxon dishes, which means a variation on... read more

We went to this place for drinks, there is food served upstairs and a bar downstairs! There was never any staff at the bar! You had to run up and down every time you wanted a drink and even then, they were not too friendly! We only went there because of the location next to our hotel!

Awesome food from the region of saxony. Friendly and quick service. Tucked away in a little side street behind the Frauenkirche. Can't wait to go back. Will recommend to friends.

After our walking tour we asked our guide for a recommendation for lunch. Traditional decor and local food but tucked down a side street so we would not have found it by chance. No tourists but locals eating so we thought that was a good sign. Their house specialities were well prepared and very tasty. The waiter was very welcoming... More

We visited this restaurant for a dinner just by chance but it was rather a positive surprise. It's lively, the staff was kind and very attentive and the meal we chose was well prepared and quickly delivered. The traditional local food we chose is definitely recommendable.

We enjoyed breakfast here as part of our accommodation at Aparthotels Dresden, so we also decided to have dinner here too. Do yourself a favour and if staying in Dresden, take yourself of the main market, walk 2 minutes around the corner and find this place. After quite a few weeks travelling and eating hotel/cafe food, we enjoyed the quality... More

Good breakfast buffet. Very good selection of hot and cold entries. The staff was a little harried, however

We ate here twice during our weekend visit to Dresden since it was the breakfast attached to our Hotel (Aparthotel an der Frauenkirche). We found that they had a decent selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, and a few hot food options to make this a very pleasant breakfast option. We may have even stretched it to "Very Good" had... More

This restaurant is just ok. I am sure that there are other places around that have more charm and better food. the service was attentive but the place seems to be too touristic

We enjoyed the local food which we found to be well prepared, tasty and more than enough to satisfy. The location is great, very near the Frauenkirche but not on the busy Munzgasse. The price was reasonable for this quality and location and our hotel had a 10% price reduction coupon. All in all a great deal and meal.
