Went here with friends on a random search for lunch and it turned out very well. The atmosphere is chill, train conductor hats lining the ceiling, and a train car inside. The food was good, service was good, and you can even sign your name on the wall. If you are in the area and in search for an easy... More

This restaurant is situated among several others at the square near Frauenkirche. The theme of the place is trams and all of the staff wear tram connected hats. At first you ask yourself why they all have military caps until you realize that in Germany even the tram staff have very elegantly designed headware. It is wondeful sitting out on... More

A really interesting restaurant in the middle of Dresden. Service was good and the menu expansive. I had the lamb shank and it was very tasty.

Really enjoyed our meal here, sat in tram styled tables complete with guard chain to make sure we didn't fall out! inside is an actual old tram that can be booked, good traditional german food served by friendly staff. enjoyed the experience. My husband says the Gents has vintage risqe photographs- he said its worth the visit just for that!... More

We ate in this restaurant and the food was traditional. The setting is along the main square and cathedral. The restaurant is set in the 1900 tram carriage, all the seats are old tram seats and there is a 1900 tram carriage towards the back of the restaurant. Price wise, it's not the cheapest but not ridiculous. All in all... More

My husband and I prefer outings with an experience. This place really hit the spot with trains and memorabilia from the olden transport era. Excellent use of local produce.

The Italian way in saxony: this could be the best way to describe a dinner in die pastamanufaktur. Warm and peaceful atmosphere with the blackboard to inform you about the wines served and the menu hanged on the wall. A few choices for the main course, but all interesting with a hint of modernism in every recipe. Excellent wine served... More

This centrally located restaurant can easily be overlooked as it only has a very small front but extends deep into the bowels of several buildings. The 1900 themed design is fun and quite informative if you are anything but a streetcar/railroad buff; the "highlight" is a restored streetcar (replete with pantograph) dating from 1900 (or so it says) which seats...
