Great food and reasonably priced!

Try their Bock Dunkel beer. One of the best I've had in Germany. Food was great as well. Everything at the table was excellent. The waitstaff was friendly and helped us order. He also provided recommendations.

Having read positive reviews on TripAdvisor we made for this restaurant on our first Dresden evening, as it was next to our hotel. However we were rather disappointed, as it didn't live up to our expectations. The waiter was miserable - he looked as if he really didn't enjoy his job and the food was just OK. The friends we... While accommodation disappointed me this trip to Germany, going out and eating did not. This is a great spot to eat during the day in the square. Great location. The guy who served us was a true gent. The food was excellent. I had a German stew while my dad has a schnitzel which he could not finish. That washed... More

Delicious food (schweinshaxe and freiberger biergulash with fasssauerkraft) good beer - kellerbier . Nice location friendly stuff, the place worth visiting. The prices and not very high, we payed for the meals mention above, 2 beers (one big - 1liter) two meals for children, 4 glasses of juice and apflelstrudel 67 euro.

We had a delightful, relaxed dinner here. Sat outside and watched everyone go by. The cold tomato soup was delicious. The steak tartare excellent and the bratwurst plate huge and delicious. A limited wine list, but beer is the king. Good and friendly service. After several days in Germany, we found this the best dinner yet.

The restaurant is in the left side in your back when you are looking to Fraunkirche. They have a nice wooden front and also a wooden interior. The atmosphear was very cosy. The menu offers all the classic beer hall dishes in Thuringe, all look good in big portion. Prices are also good, 4E for 0.5L of beer, 14E for... More

The restaurant is located in a scenic square overlooking the Frauenkirche and other beautifully restored buildings. You can sit inside or out. There is an extensive menu of mostly delicious German dishes. I had sauerbraten with potato dumplings, and my companions had horse roulade with rotkraut (which apparently was tasty), and a basil pesto pasta. We all had the lentil... More

Venue with a good beer and some local meals. Service was fast and nice, as had a lunch there place was silent and almost empty and that was suitable for business discussions. Meals were good, but nothing extraordinary for me, got some local soup which I generally didn't like, vegetable salad and salmon which was overcooked and somewhat dry. Dessert... More

We enjoyed our first meal so much that we ate here a second night. The menu has lots of choice of traditional food. All our meals were delicious. A friend has a lactose allergy and they were very helpful. Great atmosphere, good location, great value.

Friendly bustling restaurant/bar. Great chestnut soup and other local specialities. Fast service which is good for lunch. Quite large portions. The restaurant is right on the central square in Dresden which has been completely rebuilt. This might be a good lunch/drink stop if you were sightseeing.
