Good German cuisine

We had dinner here one night while visiting the city. They serve typical German fare : it's all very fattening and very delicious. Reasonably priced, with cheerful service. I would come here again.

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Zwinger. The meal was okay - nothing special. The menu was pretty limited. We actually preferred lunch the next day at another restaurant on the grounds.

We stopped here late afternoon during our Zwinger Museum visit. Very nice location with view of the opera. Cake was good, very friendly if somewhat slow service.

It's a medium-sized, dignifiied restaurant steps from the Opera House with a cavernous interior and high-ceilings. At night, in fact, it's hard to see their sign and entrance. Very nice menu but not extensive. Wine list was okay but it would have been nice if they had some medium-priced local red wines. The local wines we had were okay but... More

Best soup ever in my life then my Zander was served not cooked properly which took the shine off it a bit. Husband enjoyed his venison.

We called for a reservation late in the day on a Saturday, and luckily they still had room for 2. As a starter, we had carpaccio of of and pumpkin soup. Both were excellent and I can highly recommend the soup! As a main course, I had the veal in a balsamic reduction with mushrooms and fall vegetables with mashed... More

We were here with our friends from Wiesbaden and had a perfect evening. A great land very unique location in Dresden. The service and the food does not disappoint. What makes this elegant and old restaurant cozy is the limited number of tables and the short menu, it feels like a family-owned / run place. The warm goat cheese and... More

I searched long and hard for a nice food alternative to all the local tourist options in the centre of old town. Much to my surprise this restaurant was located among the wonderful old historical buildings of Dresden wonderfully tucked away in its own unique location. We were greeted with a smile and the service throughout continued. We ordered the... More

This was an awesome find. Impeccably prepared dishes, with a lovely menu of various selections building on tradition and modernity, local origins and, as well as fresh twists on preparation and presentation. Quiet, understated, and elegant, but most of all the food was amazing. Beer selection local (not very extensive). Lots of local and regional wine selections, by the glass,... More
