Quaint and tasty

Everything is a surprise with this restaurant. First you are in front of the Basilika and you cannot understand why you do not find it, it is in a hidden closen place. The entrance is already nice and stylish. The menu does'nt look like something special when you first read it, but when you eat it, just amazing tastes! All... More

Nice food, nice staff/service. Very central near the Dom. We enjoyed staying there. Good choice of wines. Will return.

My wife and I Abe been coming here over the past 20 years. Still the best place to go in trier for fine dining and a romantic evening. Unfortunately the decoration hasn't changed in the last 15 years, toilets could be better kept and having a view of the kitchen while on your way to the bathroom is not an... More

Last minute booking, 3 hours beforehand for a Tuesday evening but still managed to reserve a table without any problem. Food was exceptionally presented and cooked to perfection. Multiple waiters/waitresses arrived at our table to serve the next course and good information on each dish was then given. Glasses always filled before becoming empty, nearly without noticing...all these little touches... More

We used out Trip Advisor app to help us find a nice restaurant when we were in Trier. It had been a rainy day and we just wanted to have a nice meal. We picked here because it was one of the top rated and close to where we were. We are foodies and have dined in many fine restaurants... More

During a recent trip to Trier, my husband and I decided to reserve a table at Schlemmer Eule after reading the great reviews on TA. Unfortunately, our dining experience did not compare to the rave reviews. It was a very pleasant evening, so everyone was seating outside although, not overerly crowded. The service was slow and the wait staff seemed... More

Not the first time and for sure not the last time we are eating there. I thing it is one of the best restaurants in Trier. We had a very nice lunch, the food is great and the service is very nice. It is not the cheapest restaurant but for sure it is worth it.

Very well done, I took the menu option which allow you to select 1 appetizer, 1 main course, and 1 desert for about 50E. For the appetizer, I had the scallops (aka Saint-Jacques, aka Jakobsmuschel), which were excellent! Main course was Long Horn filet, cooked as requested, accompanied by a very tasty sauce (slightly sweet) on the side. Finished off... More

I was at the "Schlemmereule" yesterday. It was a great experience. + Food was on point, delicious, and of very high quality + Great, attentive service + Managed to prepare every dish without lactose, which is a problem in many restaurants + Nice ambiance, located right next to the dome
