A special meal out without breaking the bank

A great option if you want a higher quality meal out than most of the central Trier offerings without spending a fortune. We enjoyed the scallops and the Trier platter - both full of flavour and generously proportioned. Together with drinks, dessert and coffee it came to around €50-60. The best... read more

Located in the downtown area the place is easy to find, only minutes by foot from the historic "Porta Nigra". We arrived fairly late, yet the restaurant had the full menu choices available. Great ambiance, very good service and most importantly superb German-French food choices. Highly recommend it.

really excellent food, a very comfortable and modern interior design, very nice stuff, they have got a range of beer to offer from that region, Bitburger Pils is excellent, also offered without alcohol.

We had an okay meal here. Food simply is not exceptional but quanitites are great. The obesity and size of folks here is astounding. Makes one lose their appetite. We ate lunch at BAKERFIELD in town center attatched to a department store. It was so bad we could not eat. Too much salt too much pepper and whatever else. It... More

On a recommendation from our hotel we stopped in during our one night in the in Trier. I finally decided on the lamb and was not disappointed. The lamb was tender and moist and the prepared side were an excellent compliment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and plan to revisit if ever back on the area.

My wife and I had lunch here and we were both 100% satisfied with everything from the service to the dessert. My wife had a vegetarian dish and she loved every bite. That says a lot considering that most restaurants are pretty weak in the vegetarian department. I can't wait to go back to Trier just to eat at this... More

We stumbled on this place for dinner during our visit to Trier. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of our dishes. Beautiful fresh salad, the guinea fowl was a delight - tender, tasty and delicious. The lamb was lovely and tender and rare and beautifully seasoned. Our wine was also nice, not the finest on offer... More

We wanted to have something to eat and to drink some wine with that ..... We were seated at the outside terrace and had to wait for more than 20 minutes before we could order some wine. There was a big blond girl working on the terrace who ignored us although we seated at a table next to her ...... More

Very busy, very crowded restaurant with just average food. Central in the cities heart, they serve traditional german dishes. Staff is helpfull, prices reasonable, you need to make a reservation.
