Nice terrace and good service

It`s nice to sit outside of the restaurant in the pedestrian area and watch the crowd passing, while enjoying a fine glass of wine or beer.

We had a Sunday lunch in the Brasserie, and the food was good. We had beef with pepper sauce and pineaple, with fries as side dish (Zwei Medaillons vom Rinderfilet mit Pfefferrahmsauce gebratene Ananas, Pommes frites und Gartensalat).

everything was too salty. frog legs, snail and the steak also... I realise that the presentation of everything was great but the cook had preferred to decide about the salt instead of myself. except salty meals the atmosphere was good

I was looking forward to having dinner here, unfortunately food was overrated. The food we ordered were too salty. I'm very disappointed with my food. Service was good tho, and also the atmosphere was nice. But I won't recommend this restaurant anyway.

I had the frog legs and lamb. Both were excellent! I came on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The server was attentive and friendly. This place has a good vibe and seemed like a great choice for a friendly dinner or a date. The frog legs were the best I've ever had.

We visited this restaurant this evening to round of our vacations in Trier. A little background knowledge- my dad really enjoys visiting expensive "gourmet" restaurants while my (vegetarian) mom doesn't share his passion, according to her the money could be spent better. Anyways, we enjoyed a delicious meal, nice waiters making us have a great stay and in the end... More

I have been there 3 times and all the experience were top notch. It is a restaurant, not a diner. Have that in mind. It's cosy and quiet. Medium rare steak that I've tried was one of the best in town. You have plenty of room to sit and privately have a conversation.

My husband, daughter and I were turned away on a Monday evening at 6 pm. Most of the tables were vacant, but the waiter turned us away saying they were completely full. It doesn't take a genius to learn they have a standard for their guests, and the average joe just won't cut it.

This visit was a bit of a disappointment. It started out quite well, though: we didn't have a reservation, but even though the place was fairly busy, we were given a table for two near the entrance. The interior design of the place is quite appealing - nice lamps and lots of wood. So far, so good. We ordered the... More

We were running out of choices to book a table on a busy Friday night in Trier and happened across the Brasserie. Beautiful decor, relaxed and jovial atmosphere with a fantastic menu, what a pleasant surprise! French soup and duck pate followed by steak and scallops topped off by a tasty cheeseboard. Mr C says it's one of the best... More
