After nearly two weeks of good but predictable German fare – schnitzel, anyone? – we were so happy to dine at La Brasserie, which despite its name is more like a French-style bistro (normally a simple, mom-and-pop place, but in this case more upscale). Our group of seven ordered fish, prawns, pasta, lamb, rabbit and duck, among other things. I... More

Again we were seduced by the very good comments on tripadvisor and decided to spend our first evening in Trier in this restaurant. It took awhile to be served, but it seemed that the restaurant was understaffed as our waitress was really running around like mad. Dishes were good but not exceptional, execution was correct but not inspired, so we... More

Went with my girl for a late lunch on a rainy day. Since decades this places delivers solid food, fresh ingredients and of course supremely well tapped Bitburger Pils ! I can only applaud the team of the brasserie for keeping up the performance over all these years. Always worth a visit when in town, be it for lunch or... More

A restaurant that friends of mine, that live in Trier, suggested. I tasted two main dishes, a salad and a chocolate sweet. I found its food tasty but I think its prices were a little more expensive than they should have been. Most of main dishes had prices at about 15 to 20 euros. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was... More

...since this August! Almost on parity with Blesius Garten which remains also a great choice, what can I add to the previous reviews other than "give it a try!", most probably you won't regret it...and make sure you won't miss the "world's best chocolate pudding"

Great food, service excellent, need to reservation otherwise it could be full. Nice to see how they keep the drinks cool. You can sit outside or inside.

Right on Fleischstrasse, Brasserie offers a nice variety, good service, and very fine food. I had escargot, which is not offered most places. They were served in a snail plate in a delicious sauce with chopped onions, garlic, and other herbs. Really good, especially with a local dry Riesling. We also had goulash soup, and white asparagus with wienerschnitzel, potatoes,... More

Very nice restaurant in the middle of the city. Staff is professional and very friendly. Menu is changing partly belonging to the season. The steak is highly recommended. Really delicious, but expensive. I love their desserts <3

The first two times we visited here we had great food served in elegant and traditional surroundings, and decided that the frosty staff must have been having a bad day. Today we concluded is the standard here and quite unlike any service that we have experienced anywhere in Trier and anywhere in Germany in the last 20 years (live 15... More
