My husband and I did a 6 wine tasting here for 7.50 Euros each. For 15 Euros you can do all 120 wines they feature here but we didn't have the stamina for that on the day we were here. This was a fabulous experience. We had our own private sommelier for the entire tasting. It was well presented and... More

I have been visiting Trier for more than 10 years already. It is good to see that new good restaurant places appear on Trier map. This is one of them. In the past for wine testing i used to go to small places on Mosel. With this restaurant if one has limited time to travel in the area, he can... More

We were recommended this restaurant during our stay in Trier by the hotel receptionist. A modern and spacious building houses a conventional fish shop and in addition, a fish restaurant run on unusual lines. You choose from a generous menu, either on menu cards or off the wipe boards behind the fish counter, add drinks, (of which more later), and... More

This bar allows to taste more than 100 different wines from the Mosel region some several wineries including famous wineries such as Prum. There are various possibilities but I have chosen to taste only 6 wines. You can ask to chose the wines by your own which I did because I was focused on Riesling spätlese (or equivalent). The wines... More

We went here for lunch a few weeks ago and were lucky to get a table. We ordered the menu, mixed grilled fishes. The system of ordering at the cashier is a bit like a cantina, but quite efficient. The food was very good, but the service is a bit stressed, maybe because of the success of the place and... More

We always loved to go to this restaurant, really nice wine and good food for a good price. We recommended it to lots of friends. But being bashed by a girl serving you when ordering a coffee is totally unacceptable, just because she is in a bad mood!!!!! But that she serves the hot coffee and trows it on the... More

This really is the place to eat fish in spite of being so far from the sea. If you don't speak German, don't be put off - you can see all the fish in the cabinet and find out which is which on the menu. You pay upfront at the cash desk before finding a seat. The manager looked a... More

This is a regular restaurant we drive to from Luxembourg. The fish is always fresh here, and the preparation is simple and delicious. The salads that accompany the fish are a bit soggy and not to par, but it is worth the detour just for the fish! They are open on Sunday, and serve excellent regional wines.
